I guess we won’t be exiting the car in this town
We spent the day hiking in Bryce Canyon, Utah, above the smoke. We’re passing through some heavy smoke on our way back to the hotel. Windows are up in the car, air is on recirculate, and I’m wearing a KN95 mask.
Hallucination Art on Guitar
My daughter copes with constant hallucinations by drawing them. Her friend thought they looked neat and asked her to paint his guitar. She bought special paints and sealer. I think it turned out well.
Does anyone remember a playground game called “Lemonade?”
Kids form two teams. One team agrees on an occupation and has to do charades but no talking. The other team calls out some variation of “Lemonade made in the shade by an old maid, what’s your trade?” Then they have to guess what the other team’s pantomimed trade is.
My husband is older than me and my daughter Gen Z. Neither of them have heard of this game. I played it in school in the Midwestern United States in the 1970s.
Has anyone else played this at school during recess?
