My boyfriend is a great artist, whenever I have an embroidery idea I can ask him to actualize an outline for me. He is capable of fine art but breaks down designs to make them clean, simple, and great for embroidery. I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate this adorable hobbit hole he designed for me as my next piece. It feels extra special that we team up, and whenever I'm uncertain about a certain color he gives me valuable feedback. He is always first to see my work, he lights up every time I finish. I consider myself a very lucky woman. Just wanted to share that. 💞🧵🪡

Just finished this, sandhill cranes drawn by my boyfriend, stitched by me. Watercolor for background. Inspired by my childhood growing up on Flyway bird resvervation in Northern Idaho. Fun fact, sandhill cranes mate for life!

My son's nickname is Turtle. Not the best work but still cute.
