Return of the X-Runner
Say what you want about lowered trucks, but these did really well at auto-x back in the day. Maybe with Ford selling the LOBO again there’s a chance…

The ultimate family hauler for the cool mom. We have fast SUVs, it’s time for a fast van. I would buy it in a second.
I would buy this in a second. I know there’s almost zero market for it though :(
For those looking into moving into EV life, I wanted to share my experience. I am on my second Ioniq lease, I went from a 2023 Ioniq 6 SEL to a 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited. After seeing how great EV ownership is, my husband traded in his Audi Q5 for a 2025 Ioniq 6 SEL early 2025. It has been a great experience having an all EV house. We have a level 2 charger installed in our garage and it’s costing us $40 a month in power for our weekly commutes. Neither one of us can see ever returning to ICE vehicles. The lack of maintenance appointments and gas station stops are not missed, even though I do stop at QT on occasion for their nitro cold brew :).
I know Hyundai sometimes gets a bad rep, but we’ve had a great experience. Before I started the lease on my 5 I looked at all the competition and just didn’t like anything as much. I love both the 5 and 6, but with the non N 6 being canceled stateside, I’m hoping the redesign for the 5 in 2028 doesn’t ruin the cool “LEGO” look of it, because I can’t see myself driving anything but an Ioniq at this point.
Cabin air filter replacement at dealerships is always a scam. I saved money and bought a reusable k&n one Amazon. I was impressed how easy Hyundai made the air filter access on this car, not having to remove the glovebox like most cars was nice. The best part is now I have sticker horsepower lol
