Hello all,

Probably all of us agree that Skmei makes very good watches for the price. Yes, their quality control and materials are not Casio level, but often their homages are a fraction of the price of similar Casio models.

But what about Skmei analogue watches?

They are usually more expensive than their digital ones. Cheap watches overall, yes, but not money to throw away if the watch is not good or going to break with normal use in 1 year.

What experiences do the lovely people of this community have with their analogue models?

I got a second hand Gigabyte Aorus FI32U monitor. I cannot return it.

Bright scenes look great. For dark scenes, no matter what I do, or what settings or combinations I choose, the image is terrible. All look very dark and black, and details are completely lost.

My previous, very old, nothing special, no gaming or anything, 24 inch screen shows so much more details for the same exact scenes.

If I crank brightness and contrast to the max, the black becomes gray, but I cannot find a way to keep and see the details of the image.

Installing the drivers helped. Before using the specific drivers it was almost unusable for anything.
Weird, never had so many issue with any monitor in decades. Or never needed drivers to get a half decent image quality.

But this monitor gets rave scores and reviews! Contrast should be good, according to specs.

Did anyone have similar issues with this monitor? Anything I can still try?

It seems that all the Skmei solar watches have normal batteries and not rechargeable, and are not really solar powered, but only "solar assisted".

Anyone tried swapping their batteries with real rechargeable batteries?

I get that a good rechargeable battery could be more expensive than the watch itself, but also, the total cost could be around 20 dollars or so for a real solar watch. It's still really good, all considered.

But I was curious if it should work or not, and if anyone has doen it already, before throwing money away.

Hi All,

I was looking for a Skmei watch as close as possible to a Casio F-91W but with a negative display.

I found the 2042 that is an oversized F-91, and the 1647 with a metal case, but nothing the smae size of the F-91, plastic case and negative display.
