There's literally no straight answer.

Threads profile still searchable on Google, not logged in or anything. I press the Instagram icon and it leads to a broken page.

Every source says if I login to Threads, my Instagram will reactivate so I am not okay.

I only remember during the deactivation process it asked me which account I wanted to deactivate, placing my Instagram and Threads as separate options. IWas prompted to create a password for Threads.

I go to Threads website and it says 'Continue with your Instagram'.

Google says it's a glitch and to wait for the servers to catch up.

Just deactivated Instagram and I searched my Threads account on an unrelated device, not logged in and it still shows up? My IG account on the other hand, fully unsearchable.
All research points towards if Instagram account is deactivated, Threads should also be inactive.

I only know that when deactivating, Instagram made me make a password for my Threads account but I didn't read it carefully.

I'm scared to login to Threads in case of reactivating my Instagram.

I do talk kinda like this with friends but I'm curious what features other people use (of informal speech I guess)? This is from 2013.
