what on earth is eating my plants?
i have some indoor basil and mint plants that i occasionally use for cooking, in the past week i’ve noticed some holes in my basil and now my mint? what sort of bug is feasting on them? it’s left some poop underneath the leaves.

best mid range eyeshadow brushes?
hey lovelies, please drop your brush recs and experiences! i bought a bunch of Morphe brushes as a uni student, and whilst they’ve served me well for the past 5 years, many of them are getting scratchy or shedding. now that i’m earning grown up money i’d like to get some mid range-ish brushes. i’m tempted by the Rephr brushes (the 10/10 set) but have never used natural hairs before, or alternatively i hear good things about Sigma.
anyone tried either brands and can tell me how you’ve found them? or have any that you would recommend? thanks! x

why does the part near the ferrule look dark?
thinking of buying this it cosmetics heavenly luxe #4 blush brush second hand, seller says it’s unused but has been in storage for a while. why does it look slightly darker where the bristles connect to the ferrule? is this just normal from manufacturing? thanks in advance x

growing out of control, time for repot?
got this maranta 2 months ago and since it has nearly doubled in size. it’s pushing out 2-3 new leaves at any given time, i have it on my coffee counter and it’s starting to fight with my espresso machine for dominance 😭😂
i have it in my kitchen which is SE facing, but it’s on the side where light shines on it from the east, as i know it prefers indirect light (i know there’s direct sun on it right now - we’re having the hottest weekend of the year where i live, it’s not usually like that)
i did a big repot of all my plants 1.5 months ago and didn’t repot her as her roots looked fine then, but it seems like she’s hit a growth spurt since 😅 would you guys hold off for now or repot?

Bit of a rant incoming - I quit vaping about 3 weeks ago, before this I was vaping 20mg very heavily, then went cold turkey onto nic free juice.
I never actually experienced any withdrawals or cravings, BUT the one thing that I cannot stand is the insane bloating, which has just been getting worse and worse. I’ve always been fairly slim, but in the past 3 weeks I have gone from visible ab definition to 5 months pregnant
My tummy is so resonant you could play the drums on it. Even my trackpants feel tight. I’ve done a pregnancy test “just in case” to see if it was the second coming of Christ. I’ve had to buy laxatives just to get a bowel movement.
I know nicotine speeds up your bowels and this can be a side effect, but has anyone else experienced it this badly? Will I get increasingly bloated for 9 months until I give birth to a poop baby? When does it get better?
