What's wrong? Please drop some dos and don'ts.

70k portfolio

Age: 20 years old

I am a student, and this is my pocket money because I am a distance learning/open college student doing a BSc in Zoology, currently in my 5th semester.

At the beginning of the war, I invested in Indian Oil in January. Since then, I have invested a lump sum. I want to invest for the long term and see my investments generate dividends for future generations, like others. Please help me understand if I am making poor diversification choices or if I am naive about investing. Should I wait for a recovery or leave the stock market?

Just like the last 2 years, is the Indian market going to bleed continuously, or is there hope that it will be stable and profitable in the future post-war?

The reason why I invested in government stocks is that they give good dividends.

And I was familiar with Indian Oil stock; I invested last year and it boomed with a 500rs profit, and I left it, same with Central Bank of India.

Hyundai Motors was an alternate for me to Tata Motors because Tata Motors wasn't moving great until the beginning of this year, so I booked around 400rs and left it, and recently entered the Hyundai market.

IRB is like investing the leftover amount in my wallet into it.

Honestly, my risk or greed is not very big; all I want is a moderate loss, not a very big one. I always exit before the stock reaches its high potential at that time or takes action out of fear.

I am confused and feels like im shitting my pants in this journey

At first got rej but now after 5 months got the option and within 30 min

By the way, I'm 20 years old. I'm a student and also salaried. I've held an FD-backed credit card for 15 months and a Flipkart Axis Bank credit card for 3 months. I listed myself as salaried in my relative's company.
