I like this person, however I don’t know how to start a conversation nor have I even started one with this person. I’ve tried moving seats to talk to them but couldn’t like muster up the courage to say a word and just kept staring at them like a weirdo and tbh it’s like already July and I don’t know how to start a conversation with them since after that weird incident of me staring at them, they moved seats so now I’m just at a loss on what to do and this is also my first time liking someone.

( I even specifically bought cologne and new clothes to seem more interesting? I thought it would make them start a conversation with me first. )

Long story short, I attend this side art lesson every Saturday and like this guy and this started around on 3/1/26 the 3rd of January. On my third week aka my third lesson of that year, I moved seats to try to talk to them but couldn’t say a single word so I just stared at them blankly like a weirdo and the next lesson afterwards I’m pretty sure the moved seats. ( this was around January or February of this year so I’ve forgotten some of it ) and now they sit across the room and I have not yet said a single word and left a weird first impression. Now it’s July and I’m here to look for help ( yes I seem desperate ) it’s been 5 months already and the main reason why I also want to start approaching them is because of the fact that I have only around till this year and probably around 15-20 more sessions left.

I have absolutely no experience with starting conversations or holding up one and this is also my first time liking someone. Usually I can’t hold up conversations for more than 5 minutes and i usually wait for people to start conversations with me.

Another reason why I’m too nervous to start a conversation with them is because of the environment. It’s constantly quiet with not even a single sound other than our teacher.

Now I’m here to look for assistance or opinions on what to do. Pls lmk what to do this is like urgent! 😓

They currently sit across the class and I don’t even know anything about them, I really want to get to know them and their personality overall.
