Fully detached rotator cuff - surgery in 4 weeks. What to expect?

I tried to make the title as comprehensive as I could, but basically I found out that the shoulder pain I have been dealing with for the past several years is due to my rotator cuff being fully detached. I’ve been scheduled for surgical repair in about four weeks, and I’m trying to figure out what to expect postoperatively.

My sister will be staying with me for the first two weeks postop, but after that I’m gonna be on my own, with a friend that can stop by to help here and there with groceries and the like.

I’m trying to pre-plan and prepare as much as I can to set myself up for success, and I’ve been reading different threads in this forum and it seems like what I’m doing is on track, but I’m just wondering what I might be missing or not thinking about?

What were some things that you experienced or needed that you didn’t expect or prepare for? What was one of the things that was most helpful to you during your recovery?

Any and all recommendations/help would be so welcome! If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading and I appreciate any input you might have

D&D for beginners in SD?

Being a hands-on learner, where could I learn how to play Dungeons & Dragons here in San Diego? I am a total novice, I have never played, but I’ve always been interested, and I’m tired of putting things off so I want to dive in and learn how to play this game.

Are there any game shops or groups that get together that would welcome a total beginner?

Which gauge wire do you tend to work with the most often?

Basically, the title. I have several different gauges here that I have been working with, but some of the pieces I see on here look like they are made a larger size wire than I’m using, and I’m wondering if that might make the difference between things that don’t turn out right and things that do.

I mostly work with 20 gauge wire as the base and 24 or 26 for the finer details, and I’m not sure if it’s my lack of talent or the wire being too small for what I’m trying to do.

Any and all tips or tricks or information you can share is welcome and appreciated! Thank you!
