So after some thought and some discussion here (mostly negative, but hey...) I went ahead and created r/SWN_Assets (I was going to call it SWN_AI but that kept failing for some reason). Anyway this will be a place where people can place assets either they've generated with AI or not (as long as they are free for people to use). I've already started adding some of the stuff I've done for people to take. If you are completely against this, I understand, but like all things, you don't have to use it, but I think more choice is better than less.

As far as I can tell this doesn't violate any of the SWN rules and I won't plan on reposting this but there you go.

Apparently my last post fell victim to Rule 5 (which my bad, I hadn't noticed). However, I do find nanobanana (the image generation tool for Google Gemini) to be very useful to generate sci-fi battle maps (since relatively speaking there are far fewer sci-fi battle maps than fantasy ones), and frankly if I had to generate them ALL myself I'd never get a campaign off the ground. What are people's thoughts about creating an SWN_AI subreddit, where that sort of thing is not disallowed but encouraged?

Here's a breakdown of the percentage of drafted players who never make a 53-man roster, by round:

A few notes on context:

First and second rounders are nearly guaranteed a spot — teams make major financial commitments (guaranteed contracts) to these players, so it takes a serious injury or catastrophic scouting miss to cut them.

Rounds 4–7 are often called "lottery tickets." Even among those who do make the roster, many spend time on the practice squad rather than the active 53-man roster.

A 7th-round pick often has only a slightly better chance of making a team than a top-tier undrafted free agent. Tom Brady (6th round, pick 199) is the famous exception that proves the rule.

The cliff really drops off after Round 3 — essentially half or more of Day 3 picks never stick on a 53-man roster....

Make of this what you will but I had never seen these statistics and thought it was worth throwing out there....
