Idea's for Proposing in Cancun this Winter?

Hi all, I am going back to Cancun this winter with family of my GF and myself. During this trip I am planning on proposing. Not sure exactly how I will do it but will get engaged during this time. I want it to be private, with the exception of a camera person, and obviously, romantic. Just want to get some possible ideas from this subreddit :)

Thank you in advance!

Going camping with all my highschool friends, what brand should we try?

We always take chocolate bars together. I think we want to try gummies this time but still open for chocolates.

What brand has legit magic mushrooms in it? If not what is actually the closest to it? Something that keeps us energized and social.

Thanks in advance!

We will be doing a lot of hiking if that helps the advice.

Why is Nick no longer on Apple Podcasts?

Sorry if I am out of the loop but I was listening to him on Apple a few months ago and can no longer find him. Anyone have info on this?

Change my mind - there is zero reason the United States should give out H1B Visas to accountants.

There is no accounting shortage and more CPAs/accountants just deflates our value.

H1B visas are a ploy by the elite billionaire class to get even richer

I understand the United States was originally built on immigration and it is the land of opportunity and yada yada…. But times have changed. There is a horrible job market and less jobs than ever with technology and AI being exponentially better.

We have plenty of talented American born citizens who are looking for jobs and barely make ends meet. But the government is still granting H1B visas to jobs where we have thousands of Americans looking for work.

Why would the elite billionaire class want this? Well when you increase the talent pool, people are more desperate for work and will work harder jobs, work longer hours, and take less pay. Why else would we issue visas for foreigners who are working in spaces with tons of existing unemployment.

AI will take even more jobs and the increased talent pool will drive the difference from the middle class and upper class even further than it has already is.

When will Deloitte stop outsourcing jobs to USI?

This is a tough topic because I love some of the Deloitte USI auditors I work with but it is clear that Deloitte is replacing US workers with USI to cut costs. Are we just totally not in control of this trend? Do we need the next big accounting scandal due to cheap outsourced work?

I understand that AI will genuinely replace the need for a lot of the work we perform in 10 years but Actual Indians are already replacing us now.

On my social media I always see such cute videos of 10s of golden retrievers all meeting up at a common area. I really think it would be a blast and even would like to host one as I have a pretty big fenced in yard.

Is Facebook the best place? For context I’m in the Chicago suburbs.
