Hello everyone, after years of interest I am finally becoming a wizard. While waiting for a friend in the park, a specific stick caught my eye. I felt it should be my wand, so I did a quick ritual to focus my energy into it.

As I finished and looked up, a large gray cat was staring at me with a dead mouse in its mouth. We locked eyes for a minute, it walked away, and then vanished when I blinked.

What could this mean? I know cats hold magical meaning, but I’ve always had a strange, adversarial relationship with them.
