Hello all, this week I made a random purchase of this little 2018 JCW as a summer toy, always had a notion for one so just pulled the trigger on it.

Today was the first decent run I’ve had in it here in not so sunny Scotland and was pretty impressed, the chassis/suspension and steering are fantastic although the stock run flat tyres are garbage and will be getting swapped as soon as possible for new rims and better rubber.

I’m assuming people fit 17s to these if ride/handling is the priority? I’ve been told 17x8 et 40 on a 205/45 tyre is a good fit provided the rim is compatible with the larger JCW calliper?

Just a reminder that our next TrackTools Sub 12.5 Performance Point Event will be taking place this Sunday evening at 19:00 GMT on our Assetto Corsa Evo #1 server.

Hello all, hope everyone’s weekend is going great.

Firstly, I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has been joining us on the servers recently. The driving standards and overall attitude from the vast majority of people have been excellent, and it’s exactly what we hoped to see when starting this community 👊 It’s also been a great boost for us with the devs releasing 0.63 which has addressed the server closed errors, cheers Kunos 👍

Secondly, just a heads-up that we’ll be running another 80s–00s Era Road Car Touristenfahrten tomorrow evening at 7 PM-11PM GMT on our TrackTools #1 Server. This was a massive hit with those who joined us last weekend, and it was also the most-voted option in this week’s Discord community poll.

So if you enjoy retro cars with maximum feedback, analogue handling, and proper H-pattern gearshifts, be sure to stop by. It’s shaping up to be another busy night of nostalgic Touristenfahrten action.

Following on from the popularity of our first two 50-slot road car-only server events, we'd like to invite everyone to our third Sub 14 Performance Point event this evening on the TrackTools #4 Server at 19:00 GMT.

With the release today of the 0.63 update for Assetto Corsa Evo, we're hoping the extra stability will make for some great racing and uninterrupted tracknight action.

Personally, I feel these slower cars make for a much better Touristenfahrten experience, and judging by the feedback from previous events, many of you seem to agree — so we want to keep bringing you more of the same.

Hello drivers, a shout out to everyone who stopped by our 50 slot TF event last night, was a lot of fun with some great driving and minimal idiots, so thanks alot for this.

We are hosting another TF50 event this Sunday evening which will be limited to 80s-00s Road cars only, and it’s an open invite once again, so if the GT class and crazy powered modern stuff isn’t for you this should tick all the boxes. The track will be open from 18:00 GMT.

Just search for “tools” in the browser and you will see server #4 which’s currently the 50 slot one.

As title, since this car was added to the game I find myself using it constantly on TF, the balance of handling and the amount of power just seem absolutely perfect, the old h gate shifter and the mechanical nature of the boost delivery is just immense! I find myself doing a few hot laps and then sitting admiring the car and the suspension and chassis behaviour in the replays, outstanding work with this one Kunos 👏

Following on from our rather successful and very fun 50 driver session earlier this week, we will once again be hosting the same event for you all to enjoy on our Track Tools #4 server.

With a bit of luck the 0.63 update will release prior to then which “should” take car of most of the server closed errors.

All sensible and clean drivers are welcome as usual, we will also be running an 80s/90s/early 00s road car only event on this Sunday evening at the same time, again all welcome.

Hello all, following on from last nights 50 driver test which ran with almost no lag and one dropout due to the 0.60 “server closed” bug, we are running a second test this evening to see how things perform on Touristenfahrten with 60 drivers.

The setup will be road cars only for this test and the server will be online from around 17:30 GMT with our seed period beginning at 18:00.

Should this prove unstable at this driver count we will restart with 50 drivers. We had alot of fun with this last night and the track felt absolutely buzzing, so defo stop by if you want to experience it for yourself and help us test the viability of a permanent high pop TF server!

Just search for “tools” in the browser and you will see the 60 slot server listed.
