Smule loves weak singers ?
Listen, I've been on Smule for 8 years, and I've amassed a lot of followers (14k+) since the beginning.
But when I listen to my older recordings, I notice a lot of bad things : a lot of audio problems, lyric issues, and my vocal technique was quite bad at the time. However, I had a lot of engagement !!! And no, they weren't bots or group things, just genuine people loving my recordings and joining me.
Now, honestly, I think I've become a much better singer. I've worked hard on my technique. I can nail songs that I couldn't sing 4 years ago. My engagement is so low tho. I try everything (joining popular songs, etc.), but it seems like people aren't impressed anymore, and I feel a bit confused because I sound so much better than before. And when I look at the trends, there are so many weak/not skilled singers who have 100+ joins while I barely scrape 20 per song, even 5 sometimes.
I honestly don't know what to do lol
