PSA: they refuse to cancel your legacy plan, refuse opt out
I called customer service today to cancel because I am sick and tired of my once affordable t mobile phone plan (15+ years ago) getting more expensive every year against their promises, and a young woman picked up, telling me “I cannot opt out” of my legacy 15 year old plan
Obviously I pushed back. But this is so illegal and wrong.
After the young woman that pushed back transferred me to someone else, they let me cancel within five minutes and did not even spend a second trying to negotiate a better rate for me. I spent 15 years paying T-Mobile and being loyal to them for absolutely no reason. what a shame.
I hope t-mobile tanks. I hope they lose significant revenue. I hope the people responsible feel it most.
