Open Brow Lift (forehead reducing)

I am about eight months postoperative open brow lift. As you can see, I have a pretty significant indentation along the scar line. Depending on the lighting, it is very obvious looking.

I was watching a doctor Nayak post recently about open brow lifts and he mentioned using a zigzag cut because straight across can make it look like one is wearing a hairpiece.

I’m genuinely saddened that my Surgeon (despite his board certifications and top medical school and residency program qualifications) did not seem to have this particular practice in his tool kit.

Bangs do not flatter me, so I am resigned to going out into the world looking… dented.

Here is the Dr Nayak post:

Barbara’s Post

Hey neighbors,
I saw Barbara’s post this morning and damn near dropped my coffee. I didn’t want to say anything yesterday because I thought I was losing it… but last night around 11:15pm I was letting my dog out in the backyard (the one that backs up to the greenbelt) and I heard this weird clicking/chittering sound, almost like a big insect mixed with a growl.
Then I saw it. Same thing Barbara described — big, hunched on all fours at first, then it stood up on two legs for a few seconds and just… stared toward the trail. I grabbed my phone and managed to snap one blurry photo before it dropped back down and disappeared into the brush toward the creek.
I’m not saying it’s a chupacabra or anything crazy like that… but I’ve lived here 12 years and I’ve never seen anything like this. The photo is grainy as heck because of the iphone night vision, but you can kinda make out the shape and those weird ridges on its back.
Should I post the picture here? I don’t want to freak everyone out, but if people are walking dogs at night maybe they should know.
Stay safe out there.

Finding a NVC Mediator?

Hello, I’m finding it surprisingly difficult to find a mediation professional who practices nonviolent communication in their services.

I’m looking for someone in the Monterey County of California to help mediate a family trust situation. This needs to be in person not remote.

Appreciate if I could get any referrals. Online searching has not yielded any results as of yet.

Thank you.
