Any tips on buying perfumes online? I’ve wanted Orange Blossom forever and now it’s discontinued. I’m looking at others but I’m so far from a Lush.

Hi all, I’m looking for perfumes online! I’m quite far from the nearest Lush and my Lush doesn’t have all that many perfumes, so understandably I’m a little worried about even making the long trek out there to try perfumes.

What sucks is I’m used to being able to try decants (microperfumes website sells them for example) but I can’t find anything that’ll sell me a mL of a Lush perfume. I’ve made a list of those I’m interested in, but am still on the fence about them because I’m unsure if I can return them (?) if I don’t like them.

Currently I have Lust, which is one of my favorite perfumes ever. I love a super heady floral. I have the solid perfume of Breath of God and I want the full size. I also have Rose Jam, which is a little shocking because I don’t like super sweet scents, but I do wear it occasionally especially when I’m in close quarters with others, because most people like the smell. I’m interested in Goddess. I tend to prefer earthy, very floral, woody, or more herbal types of perfumes, especially feminine leaning unisex, and I like complexity. I dislike super powdery scents and overly sweet or fruity smells or too musky or vanilla-y. I like gourmands SOMETIMES… hit or miss with me.

How’s the return process for perfumes? I’m sure I’d only spray once or twice before deciding to return.

Knowing my preferences, anything you’d recommend? I also have Pansy, V, Ginger, Bee’s Knees and Devil’s Nightcap in my cart. I can’t buy all of these and I’m sure I won’t even like all of them. My local (or well, over an hour away) Lush isn’t even going to have half of them, I’m afraid.

Is there also anywhere at all I can get tiny samples or decants? I’m totally willing to pay but I’d like to try before I buy.

Even the Lush I went to last month in Chicago didn’t have a lot of the scents. :/

Skincare machines that are worth the price tag and show results? Hit my 30s and want to up my regimen.

I’ve hit my 30s and am trying to level up my skincare.

I have a Dr Pen microneedling device that I’ve begun using. I’m seeing different machines for things like red light therapy, or other devices that might help stave off aging and help with the first signs of aging.

Any recs? Obviously I don’t want to spend enormous amounts of money but I’m absolutely no stranger to luxury stuff. The Dr Pen was super affordable as I was recommended to buy off Temu because it’s the same thing. I know a lot of devices aren’t so affordable, but fire away… my skin is an investment.

Having an issue with ejaculate and BV. What can I do to prevent this?

30/F. I never had BV once in my life before this started happening and I’ve never had it outside of right after having sex. I make sure to urinate after sex each time (I know that doesn’t relate to BV but to UTIs).

I’ve had very little sex the past few years—less than ever in my adult life. I’ve had three partners in the past five years. The first two were moreso one-night stands (with an ex for one and a friend for another). Each time they came inside me and I think I’m having an issue with cum.

I currently have a boyfriend, though it’s long distance so I’m still not getting sex often. The first times we had sex, he did not cum inside me and we had no issues. This last time, he did, and the next day I immediately had the burning horrible sensation and saw the doc. BV again.

I want to be able to have my boyfriend finish in me. I don’t know if it’s the semen or the fact that my body hasn’t gotten to get used to their flora or whatever. I will say, my boyfriend is VERY clean. Like, uses a bidet, showers very regularly, clean. I myself am clean. I know there’s this preconceived notion about BV being dirty, which makes me feel shameful, tbh.

But it’s been three times in several years, always after cum. I don’t know if I’ve developed some sort of reaction to it or it fucks up my pH badly enough that the bad bacteria proliferate. I’d like to find a way to deal with this without getting BV. Does anyone have recommendations? I know it’s not totally uncommon to have issues with semen. I will be seeing my gyn soon and asking about it, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had these issues and what you might do to alleviate them.

Six weeks; Qilin official hat. I will note the current photo is in direct sunlight but still, crazy color change! Let me know if you have suggestions.

Are there any comprehensive guides to shape, type, techniques, glossary, etc?

I cannot for the life of me find anything online other than short articles here and there with a little basic info.

Are there any guides that include info especially on shape and type? I’m gradually learning the types through experience and random stuff here and there but I’d love for there to be a website or page that has it all (or more than a few paragraphs). Also just keywords and techniques and just more info. I want historical background and all of it. (Maybe I’m the only one who throws myself into a hobby at 1000 mph, but I doubt it).

Any ideas? Thanks!
