How many guys needed to throw down the cement for a small room?

We are want to build a small room for a community center and was wondering how many guys would we need to throw down the cement, just that. We can get others to join in when we start doing other stuff later on, but just the cement part, the room is about 9 feet by 5 feet. I want to pour and level the concrete and were initially thinking of getting a standing concrete mixer from a site like alibaba or amazon but then figured it would be easier to get ready to go cement from a place nearby where we can rent a truck. I just need to figure out how many people to source to finish and pour properly before it starts setting, one person could handle the cute and wheelbarrow, one for leveling and how many more would we need do you think?

Standing concrete mixer to build a room versus a truck concrete mixer?

We want to build a very small room, around 9ft by 5 ft and was thinking of doing it ourselves because its for a non-profit we volunteer for. We all have construction expierence and backgrounds so it didnt really seem very complicated. The problem is that a few people have mentioned that using a standing concrete mixer might cost more than getting concrete from the truck, I was wondering if anyone knows this for a fact?

The dimensions of our room are around 9feet by 5 feet, if it turns out that the truck is cheaper then we would just hire a conrete mixer truck and do it that way rather than trying to mix the concrete ourselves. Just wanted some insight from people who use concret a lot and know exactly how this works? I mean if the truck is going to charge by the hour or weird fees then wouldn't a standing concrete mixer we purchase be better in the long run? I found a few on sites like alibaba and amazon and they are very reasonbly priced, like around $150 to $500 depending on how big it is.

Small portable cement mixer to build an additional room for a community center?

I am planning on helping a group of people at a local nonprofit build an add on room in a small community center we all volunteer at. We were thinking we could purchase a small portable standing concrete mixer and then after the project is done one of the guys can purchase it for his construction business.

We thought this way we could actually physically be doing it instead of hiring a construction company to do it which would also be more expensive. This way we can do it on our own time and also be participating in the actual building of the small room. Most of us have construction expierence, we just haven't ever purchased any sort of equipment like this so wanted some perspective. We saw a bunch of really reasonably priced ones on sites like alibaba and amazon that cost like a hundred bucks and thought we could just purchase one online or maybe pay a visit to a local construction equipoment store to see what they are offering? Will this work?

Weight of load versus battery power and battery charging?

I have a small but growing microbrewery that I need to order equipment for and I had a question specifically about order pickers. I realized that these things have batteries that determine how much they can pick up. I was wondering if others who had a warehouse where they used a order picker and give me some insight into how much can an average order picker pick up? Like are the batteries strong enough to pick up loads that weigh around 3000 pounds if its a low-level order picker meaning if it doesnt have to stretch upwards so much to pick up the load. The higher the level the less it can pick up, so my question is this, if the load is between 2000 and 3000 pounds, I would need to make sure that it doesn't have to reach too high up.

I will be using it to pick up items like cans, kegs, grain bags and packaging materials. I was wondering how battery performance holds up during long days when the machine is constantly lifting heavier inventory, like how many of these should we have in case one gets discharged? When I read the listings of brands like raymond, crown, atomoving, and caterpiller I found that they do list maximum weight they can pick up but its more about the battery life and picking up heavy loads that I am worried about. I don't want to having to keep charging. it.

Hey guys, after many years of selling to friends and family in Minnesota, I decided to launch my own microbrewery, very excited to start this new journey, I actually quit my full-time job to do this, so I hope it works out. Fingers crossed!

I quickly realized that I need pallet trucks and order pickers in order to facilitate staff in storing and packing beverages so that there is no damage or breakage. We just lost about 100 bottles the other day because we weren't using these things, so it's a fast learning curve for me. I have no experience in sourcing stuff for storing beverages in large amounts, so I quickly did some research and found a lot of small businesses purchase order pallet trucks or pickers and I wanted to learn more about what I should be looking for when I want to purchase a few. For a small business, what are some important things to look out for when importing or buying logistical equipment like this, especially from another country (during my research, I found a few Chinese companies (atomoving, tianlift, and sinolift). Right now I can't put a lot of cash down on stuff like this, but we do really need something and fast.

If anyone has done this before, I would certainly welcome any guidance on what I should ask the vendor? Thanks! Just to clarify, order pickers are the things that lift staff up to a height where they can manage stock, while pallet trucks are trucks that staff can drive to actually pick and move stuff.

Can anyone recommend chinese companies that sell items like this that can be imported efficiently without a lot of hassle? I came across a company called Atomoving that looked legit, and another one I found on Made in China, forgot the name, but I would feel more comfortable ordering from an actual company instead of a third-party wholesale site. If anyone has done this before, I would certainly welcome any guidance! Thanks!

If I need to get an estimate about how much it would cost to hire someone to come up and break up my kitchen floor, how much do you think it would cost and how many hours would it take? I was thinking of doing it myself and then realized that if I purchase the power demolition drill from a site like harbor freight, amazon, alibaba, lowes etc.

I would also need a whole bunch of other stuff in addition to the drill. How much would it cost per hour? The estimates that I have gotten so far range between $90 and $120 but I am not sure if that is an accurate estimate? I know that general demolition labor might be cheaper, but I am not sure if that is an accurate estimate. But they are slower.

I want to try to budget how much it will cost to break up a concrete floor in my kitchen if I buy a power demolition drill. I was thinking it would be cheaper if I did this myself instead of hiring someone to do it. This way, I can do it myself and also purchase something that I might be able to use later down the road.

I know the drill itself seems to range between $40 and $60 from a site like harbor freight, amazon, alibaba, lowes etc. and for me, that seems a small price to pay, instead of hiring someone else to do it. The problem is that I seem to have overlooked all the other stuff I need to buy, like masks, a sledgehammer, a small chipper machine, and a poly curtain. So in total how much do you think it would cost for all this stuff and is there anything I am missing? I just need an average estimate?

I want to sell fashion cuff links and tie clips online and I was wondering if I could get some feedback from people who have done this before. I know there are a bunch of vendors online on alibaba and amazon that sell items like this, and sometimes they group them together into gift boxes. I was wondering would it be better to sell them individually or as sets?

And if I bundle them together would it be easier to sell them at a higher price? What are the profit margins on items like this? I am wondering if this is more of a niche market now, I am thinking of targeting weddings, corporate events and possibly the corporate gift market.
