Anyone out there needing help gathering players for multiplayer games?

Hi gamers- just thought I'd throw this out there. I realize a lot of multiplayer games are difficult to test especially during pre-release or even post-release to gather a decent player base. So I've created this thread to give a centralized means for developers to post their game and a dedicated date/time where (hopefully) other fellow members of the community can check it out at the same time to give your game a true multiplayer experience.

Or if you prefer I just created a dedicated subreddit r/ScheduledGaming for precisely the same purpose.

Looking to trade playtests for a new browser-based multiplayer board game

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a few people to help playtest Rumble Avenue, a new free browser-based multiplayer board game I’ve been working on.

It’s a property-trading style board game with dice rolls, buying properties, collecting rent, trades, event cards, bots, and online rooms. Since it’s multiplayer, feedback is much more useful when people can try it more than once and see how different games play out.

I’m happy to trade playtests with other developers.

What I’m asking:

  • Play at least 3 sessions
  • Each session should be around 15 minutes minimum
  • Try different setups if possible: solo with bots, live multiplayer, creating/joining a room, trading, etc.
  • Share honest feedback on what felt clear, confusing, fair, unfair, slow, broken, or fun

This would be on the honor code. I’m not asking anyone to prove anything. I just want feedback from people who actually spent a bit of time with the game rather than only opening it for a minute.

Game link:

No download is required. It runs in the browser.

If you’re interested in trading playtests, reply with your game link and what kind of feedback you’re looking for. I’m especially looking for feedback on fairness, dice randomness, trading, bots, pacing, and whether the game makes sense to a new player.

Thanks!

Rumble Avenue is looking for early playtesters

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for early playtesters for Rumble Avenue, a new free browser-based multiplayer board game built around dice rolls, property buying, rent collection, trades, event cards, and a bit of chaotic board-game luck.

The game is playable now directly in the browser with no download required. Players can create a room, invite friends, add bot opponents, choose a token, roll around the board, buy properties, make trades, and try to outlast the other players.

Because Rumble Avenue is still new, feedback from early players is extremely helpful. I’m especially interested in hearing whether the game feels easy to understand, whether the dice/randomness feels fair, whether the interface is clear, and whether the multiplayer flow feels smooth. Since it is a multiplayer game, building a steady player base is also important so rooms feel more active over time.

If you enjoy casual online board games, property trading, light strategy, or browser games you can play with friends, I’d really appreciate you giving it a try and sharing honest feedback.

You can play here:

https://rumbleavenue.com

Feedback is welcome on gameplay balance, clarity, bugs, fairness, pacing, bots, trading, and anything else that stands out while playing.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to test it — early feedback will help shape where the game goes next.

My browser-based property trading board game - looking for feedback

Rumble Avenue is free to play in the browser and does not require a download. Players can create rooms, invite friends, roll dice, buy properties, collect rent, trade, draw event cards, add bots, and try to outlast the other players.

A few areas I’m especially interested in feedback on:

  • whether the dice/randomness feels fair and natural
  • whether the game flow is easy to understand for new players
  • whether the interface feels too busy or clear enough
  • whether the chat/moderation approach feels reasonable
  • what would make players trust an online board game more
  • what would make people come back and play again

I’m not posting this to criticize or compete with any specific game. I’m mostly looking for honest feedback from people who enjoy this type of online board game and care about fairness, transparency, and a better multiplayer experience.
