building a free website to teach students finance for free

Hey everyone, I’m a high school student and I’ve been building a project called Finance & Quant Society.

It is a completely free platform for students interested in finance, investing, statistics, and quantitative finance.

So far, it includes:

  • 200+ lessons and quizzes
  • Stock and market research tools
  • A browser-based Python strategy tester
  • Backtesting tools
  • Points, streaks, badges, and leaderboards
  • Beginner finance workshops

The main goal is to make finance and quant education more accessible to high school students who normally would not know where to start.

We currently have 120+ student accounts, but I am still trying to improve activation and get more students to actually complete lessons and return to the site.

Any feedback is appreacted!

Built a free finance learning website for high school students

Hi, I’m a high school student and I built Finance & Quant Society, a free website for students interested in finance, investing, statistics, and quant.

It has 200+ lessons, quizzes, market research tools, and a Python strategy tester that runs in the browser. Around 100 students have signed up so far.

I’m looking for honest feedback from people in education. Does the website make sense, and what would make teachers more comfortable sharing it with students?

feedback on feature

hello all

i created with website (financeandquantsociety.org) and it already has almost 100 users etc. I added a new feature (it requires making an account) and its the trading floor (you can find it on the home page below the market read). I was just wondering if anyone finds this actually fun or interesting and how it connects to the rest of my page.

thanks!!
