Did Giant sell me the wrong rack?

Just pulled the trigger on a Revolt 0 and decided to buy the Rack-IT Rear Rack . I asked them to add the seat post collar on for back rack and they suggested this one. However I cant seem to line the stems up with the collar on the seat post. The stems from the rack naturally point towards the screw holes at the top of the seat stay (which apparently is only for fenders). Cant flip the stems around as it would interfere with whatever bag I'll put on.

Am I stupid or did they give me the wrong rack?

In the market for a ~ $3,000 gravel bike. Which would you pick?

Love my Rocky Mountain Solo 30 but just realized it's a size too big for me, hence why it hasnt been a very comfortable ride these last four years. I would gladly swap it for a small but it seems like they're discontinued.

I'm looking to upgrade with a focus on bikepacking so mounts are important. Which of these would be your choice? Open to other suggestions.

Edit: PRICES ARE IN CAD

Anyone ridden the 148 between Gatineau and Masson yet this year?

Looking to do the ferry loop today and make my way back by the Quebec side. Wondering if anyone's ridden the 148 yet this year and what state the road shoulders are in. Taking my road bike but wondering if I should throw on my gravel wheelset.

Thanks

Frame too big?

Bought this Medium sized gravel bike (Rocky Mountain Solo 30km) about 4 years ago. Never been all that comfortable but didn't know any better. After getting a bikefit done on my 51cm roadbike, i'm realizing this frame might have been a size too big all these years.

Could I get away with putting a shorter stem on to reduce reach or should I be looking to downsize entirely?
