I am an employee who makes all my purchases in store so I can use my employee discount. We got an online code for the weekend so I wanted to finally order online to get some GWPs! Tell me why all my items shipped except the 3 GWPs lol I finally understand the disappointment and frustration! I would have just bought them all at my store but wanted to have some fun getting some free goodies but I guess it’s karma for not helping my store with sales hahah

I haven’t been to the parks in over 8 years and this is my first time going as an adult so I’ve never been in charge of any planning. I’m dragging my boyfriend along so I really want to show him a good time! Disneyland park is a whole beast I need to take longer to plan lol but for DCA is this a good plan for the day? I’m going on sept 23 :

- after ride, get carne asada bkfast burrito at Capuccino Cart
- Ariel’s Under Sea Adventure while we digest
- walk around Pixar Pier do Toy Story Midway Mania and Incredicoaster
- Grizzly River Run before peak heat to beat lines ?
- explore Avenges Campus
- Pyms Test Kitchen for lunch
- Monsters Inc
- Soarin
- explore around and repeat rides we liked and I def wanna hit cars and incredicoaster again at night!

Any other tips to beat long lines? Or food we need to try? I want to get to these rides but also not feel like we’re rushing the day

Do guest coordinators get free salon services and if so, how do the hairdressers get paid? Would love to take advantage of the services but would hate for them to be upset with me

I just moved to outer sunset a few months ago so I haven’t explored the city much. My friend is visiting for the weekend and I wanted to take her to a few places but wanted some input on the order in terms of area and transportation to get places. I want to buy the Messi cologne for my boyfriends birthday which is in August. I just hit 2,000 points and wanted to use them for the cologne but I realized it’s part of the 5x multiplier for Only at Ulta. Is it more worth it to take the multiplier? And will this probably be the best multiplier opportunity before August? Thanks in advance! :)

I probably shouldn’t be posting since I know some of my coworkers who know about this situation are on Reddit but I need to rant so 😭😭 I work in the beauty department at a very very high volume store with a TL who has high expectations. I’m fairly new but have become comfortable enough in the beauty department. I am sometimes given some help on the weekends but usually it’s just me and I manage fine. Saturdays are obviously pretty bad and so as we were closing tonight I asked my TL if I could potentially get some help tomorrow. He explained why I probably wouldn’t be able to, completely fair. Then 3 of my coworkers walk up and he adds that I have the easiest department out of everyone so I should be ok. In my opinion, that was completely unnecessary to add, especially in front of others. I am very knowledgeable about makeup so I am always promoting different products to guests and going above and beyond for them and for the zone. it made me feel completely belittled and embarrassed for asking for help since everyone else can apparently manage in harder areas. I feel like any other word could have been used too like maybe my area has less demand but it doesn’t mean it’s easy by any means. My role has had more and more responsibilities added on to it as well and I just feel completely under appreciated.
