So before i start , i want to thank the developers and Star note team for their dedication towards the app and users

The app is almost perfect , and Devs are doing hard work to add new features constantly and make it better .

I have attached a video compilation of all the issues i will add timestamps as well.

1. Scribble to erase feature is hit & miss , it doesn't work well sometimes it misses , sometimes it erases something i didn't want to erase

It would be great if Devs could modify the sensitivity better or maybe add a feature where we can choose a specific gesture to erase like cross to erase or maybe circle and cross to erase something like that would be more accurate.

2. Persistent document overview tab and overlapping of more setting tab , document overview tab and keyboard.

After opening the doc overview tab it should close by touching anywhere on the note but it remains persistent, and i feel the opening and closing of tabs needs to be polished so the app feels smooth.

3. The Ui right now looks very cloggy the note taking ui as well as main screen ui it needs to be modified. While adding new features is amazing but the thing is people rarely use rare features so we should have the option to hide those features or maybe app can smartly detect my most used features and hide the rest. The ui should go towards minimalism so the app stays Distraction free and looks attractive and all the features i need the most should be there without searching for them or would be essential for a quick workflow , too many options i don't even use becomes distracting , so i think adding more customisation would allow users to select options they use the most and hide the ones they rarely use

So i request Devs to make ui more customisable maybe add options where we can specifically select what stays on our screen and what doesnt, i know its already there but it needs expansion, currently we can only customise the top bar , the bar below that should be customisable as well.

And the opening interface definitely needs a work up it's so unattractive right now.

The app ui should look minimal and clean . Maybe adding an option to choose the number of notebooks in one row would help, some people would like minimal ui while others may not, so giving the customisation option to others would be better.

Please polish the app ui , app is great but the ui needs to go towards minimalism because it is less distracting and more attractive or maybe give the customisation option to users if you wanna cater to a wider range of users . It's my humble request that please work on ui if nothing else otherwise the app is perfect

4. Penbox has certain positions only where i can attach it , maybe it should be more free , like i should be able to attach it anywhere on the top , and it would be a bonus ✨ if we can turn it on/off permanently or maybe change the shape of it to a circular or hemispherical palette.

5. Lasso tool should be able to take pictures like to save a picture from note i have to use that specific feature given for that which selectively takes ss of the part i think lasso tool should be able to cut that snippet for me , other apps provide that feature, so it would be great. Timestamp 7 secs.

6. Handwriting needs better recognition and beautification, ~ which Devs are already working on.

7. Textbook search is unusable on non ocr documents i don't know how smart search feature works i think rn its a gimmicky feature. Needs to be improved and fixed.

8. App needs a dedicated dark mode not for ui but for documents as well like some pdf reader apps have various eye comfort modes , star note only have the eye comfort option which i have to go to settings and turn on or off, i think it would be great to integrate it with reading mode like upon entering reading mode the options to select light or dark mode shows up , or maybe adding a pale white or yellowish colour would be comfortable for eyes.

9. Needs more dedicated ,free, pro exclusive planners in the shop it would be nice to have more planners , current planners are not really usable. (This is just an extra demand 🥲).

I request Devs to please bring your attention to these issues because i think issues like these are small but matters a lot for a good user experience and i think Devs are planning to make this the best app out there , so these fixes are essential for that especially the ui , the ui defines the app and I think should be more polished ....
