New to London - where can try and buy make up?

Recently moved to London and turns out I need to replace my whole make up kit. I currently have everything MAC - from primer to mascara. Now, I’d like to explore other brands and looking to try before buying. Any recommendations?

Recently relocated to UK - good driving history. Need advice

I have a good driving history across countries and am able to drive comfortably in the UK using my foreign license. Starting the license process here and wanted to know what is the best way to go about taking instructor lessons, booking tests, booking car for test etc.

  1. Do I need to take any lessons before my theory test?
  2. Are there any websites/resources for theory test prep
  3. How do instructors normally take on students here? Do they take a mock test first ?
  4. I am assuming I will need to take multiple lessons to be able to book an instructor’s car for the test due to the additional requirements in the car (you can take a friend’s car for driving test in US). Is that correct?
Anything else that I need to keep in mind?
    TIA

Dear all,

I discovered that I have wavy hair a couple of years ago. John Freida crème was my first product that helped me discover my waves. It worked decently well.

Later, I tried curlsmith air dry cream which gave me similar results as John Frieda cream but was definitely more expensive.

Most recently I tried AG’s Recoil curl activator - again pretty decent results.

I’ve recently moved countries and now I’m in London,UK. My hair are now a complete mess!

AG is super expensive here for some reason, John Frieda is accessible but I hear they have changed their formula( I tried their gel and that is drying out my hair), curl smith has new packaging - not sure it’s the same product.

I’d love to hear your advice on best possible lightweight product to get in London.

My routine:

Shampoo : Combination of Verb Ghost and Forest essentials

Hair mask: Verb Ghost

Currently using John Frieda gel post wash but used to use above mentioned creams

Finish and refresh : Verb Ghost Oil

TLDR : need advise on hair cream for 2a/2b fine hair in London, UK
