What is up with me
17F I feel tired all the time and getting out of bed is a workout in itself in class. My concentration is lower than it should be. Many of my friends sleep for three hours or less and their concentration is still better than mine. It feels the same whether I sleep for five hours or nine hours or if I’m empty stomach or full and snacking during class. I still feel tired when I stand up too fast, everything goes black for a second or two, and I feel woozy
Edit: My grandma and dad have beta thalassemia minor which I found out about the day I got this blood report, should I get tested for this? Can it be related to my ferritin levels?I’ll attach pictures regarding this in the comments.
Question for people who have had djs+genioplasty
I need to decide when to get my jaw surgery done and would really appreciate hearing from people who have gone through it. I had braces from age 15–17 and had no plans for jaw surgery back then. Recently, after consulting a different orthodontist, I started the jaw surgery process and got new braces about 2 months ago. My orthodontist mentioned that I have significant root resorption and that I’m not the ideal candidate for prolonged orthodontic treatment. Because of that, he suggested that it’s better to have the surgery as early as possible to minimize further root resorption. But nothing has been decided yet. The problem is that I have some major college determining exams from February to May 2027. My original plan was to get the surgery done after my exams in May. I’m now considering doing it in November or December if the recovery won’t affect my studies too much. I know the first week is usually the hardest after reading many experiences here but how functional were you after that? Will I able to get back to my normal study routine after a little more than a week? Was pain still significant? Will the painkillers making me feel drowsy and unable to concentrate? I’m mainly trying to figure out how much my daily life and studying would be affected after the first couple of weeks. If it’s only about 2 weeks of disruption, I might consider having the surgery before my exams. If recovery affects concentration for much longer then I’ll probably wait until after my exams.
saw this great deal!! unfortunately its too cheap for my taste but someone would surely enjoy grabbing it 💞💞
