Help with blood effect on feet!

Hi everyone!

Not sure if this would be the right place to ask but I wanted to ask is there any blood body paint or fake blood that won't transfer and maybe dries?

I'll be at a con for a whole day and I need to create the effect of feet covered in blood (I've attached a reference!) Is there a way I can create the effect and make sure it won't transfer anywhere? I'll be wearing sandals through the con, so I won't be dripping blood all over the floor!

I've tried mehron blood before but it's incredibly sticky and transfers everywhere. I saw a method where someone used EBA blood and sprayed final seal? Is that the way to go? I've considered making blood-covered tights and I've asked in other subreddits, but I got a lot of mixed advice and methods.

Just to add some details: I'm based in Australia so anything that's accessible here!

Hopefully, that's enough details and thanks for reading!

Help with dyeing tights!

Hi everyone!

I've never dyed before and I need to dye some tights for a cosplay. I would like some advice on how to go about it!

I'm using the Taking Shape opaque tights (90% nylon/ 10% elastane) and I need to mimic the effect of blood on the foot to mid-calf area (I've attached a reference pic!) My game plan was to use the Rit All Purpose dyes in the colour Scarlet & Wine and then dip-dye them?

I'm wondering if that's the way to go? And, whether those are the two colours to use to make a realistic blood colour? Are there other or another colour combo that might be better? How am I able to create the gradient and blood splatter/droplets on the tights? Also are there any tips and tricks on dyeing for the first time?

Hopefully, that's enough detail and thanks for reading!!

Help with mimicking blood covered feet effect!

Hi, everyone!

I'm cosplaying Marcille's dungeon master outfit from the Delicious in Dungeon manga. I noticed she has blood all over her feet/calves and I don't want to walk around a con with fake blood all over my legs. (I've done it once, never again)

I was thinking of mimicking the effect by using fabric paint on hoisery. Is that the right way to go about it? Is there a better way to do it?

If anyone has done something similar before, how did you do it? I was thinking of wearing the tights and then painting it on myself but I have never used fabric paint before. Also, how would someone mimic the effect? e.g. do I splatter the blood with a brush? Paint it on?

Hopefully, this is enough detail!

Graduation dress reccs?

Hi guys! First time posting here! So, please bear with me.

I'm wondering if I could grab some reccommendations for places that have midi-length formal dresses, as it's for my graduation. I'm usually a size 20, but 22 depending on the brand. I really love the style of the Mademoiselle House of CB dress but obviously, it doesn't come in plus sizes. So, I'm wondering if there's something similar out there. But, I'm open to anything!

I'm based in Australia, but I don't mind buying from overseas. Although, buying in Australia would be very convenient! I'm also open to places that do custom pieces either. I'm in no rush as my graduation ceremony is in November. Also, I'm a 24F, if that info is needed!

Edit: forgot to add my price point! Anything under $400 AUD, please. Nothing that's going to shatter my bank.

Hi, guys! Need some help with a fantasy novel I used to read YEAARS ago. I think I was maybe around 10-11yrs old (so around 2012-2013?) when I read it. Definitely the last years of primary school (Australia).

I know it was probably over ten years ago but there used to be a fantasy series of novels involving a female protagonist, and a few other important characters, including a talking dog? It had a bit of a serious undertone to it.

I remember a specific scene or part of the book where the protag has almost like another soul or person inside her and the dog sniffs her and says something about how the protag looks like his friend but doesn't smell like her?

I also remember there was a whole made-up signal/sign language where it involved a lot of touching on the face and ear? I remember there was a whole glossary of specific words in this language placed at the end of one of the books.

That's honestly all I remember about the series and this might be super vague ngl but any help is great help!

EDIT: ive just remembered some more details where the 'soul' that occupies the protags body has vibrant red hair? and the protag had a bow as a weapon? i also remember one of the books (mignt be the last one) had a whole concept art and illustrations of the characters too? not sure if this helps.
