Is the DASH a needed item?

So I the Knob and a Gen 2 commander in my Model 3 22 LR after figuring out my page layouts I'm now in a really good place with the setup and happy with how things are in the car.

However, seeing Android Auto is on the DASH following the newest update, I'm now wondering if the dash is a worth while addition or I'm just spending for the sake of it?

Out of warranty check at Tesla

Does anyone know what the cost of a total car check is at a main Tesla centre?

I asked at my local one yesterday and the sales man said for older cars out of warranty that they didn't sell, they direct people to Cleevely EV as they check things out to a much higher level.

That is great but Cheltenham is 100+ miles away so I'm unable to just pop down at leisure.

I explained that I wanted them to check it as my car came with a 2 year warranty from dealership I got from so if Tesla could advise of any issues I'd get them covered from that.

Thanks in advance.

Wood Trim in car

We like what we like and as much as I have tried, I'm just not feeling the wood trim on the dashboard and door cards. I don't know what it is but for me I'm getting Rover SD1 vibes with the wood and I need it to be gone.

I've been on eBay and Amazon looking for replacements but all I'm seeing are carbon fibre covers. Can anyone point me in the direction of plain black/grey as close OEM or even alcantara covers.

Thanks 👍

New to the world of S3XY

So I'm just about to take delivery of a M3LR from 22 and I'm compiling my things to buy list and came across the S3XY Knob. I wanted to know do you need the commander or just the knob? I tried watching a few videos on YouTube but none were clear, as to if you needed both. So before I buy, I thought I'd ask here.

Thanks in advance

No requirement for a smart charger...

I was wondering if someone can point me the right direction of a charging unit which will be used with a Tesla Long Range which doesn't have smart features, I just want a 7kW unit to overnight charge based on the setup hours done in the car.

I drive in and around town and do around 150 miles per week if I'm lucky. I have read so much stuff that I think I've Jedi Mind tricked myself into what is going to work.

I collect the next week so have few days left to decide and my electrician is booked and ready to complete the installation but I don't know what to get.

Any help and advice greatly appreciated
