Omni O1 UV Printer Deposit Now Open

Who else is as stoked as I am for this launch? I put my deposit down as soon I woke up this morning.

The machine and ink pricing is far better than I expected!

What are your thoughts? Concerns? Questions you'd like answered? I'll see what information I can get from my sources.

Let's talk about M2 Calibration and Maybe More if you want to

I've had the M2 for a few weeks now and have had a bunch of fun with it. It's not the powerhouse that I'm used to with the P3 but it is just incredibly easy to use and almost gives a sense of wonder that the industrial P3 doesn't. I think it's a great entry level laser for almost anybody, especially at the price point that it is.

One thing that is super important to take into account though, especially for first time users, is make sure you do ALL of the recommended calibrations when you first get your M2. If you don't, then your accuracy will be garbage and that sense of wonder will quickly become frustration. The setup runs you through all of the proper calibrations, so make sure not to skip it!

Here are the different calibrations that you need to ensure to do. If you fail to do one, or need to redo one as the machine ages, they're easily accessible via the device settings as shown below!

That's all really, no point in over-complicating a post.

Have you gotten an M2? Are you thinking about it? What questions do you have? Or is there anything you'd like to see done with it? I'm happy to show some things here.

Make sure you hit up the xTool Squad program if you want a personal demo of any of their machines! Available as virtual or in-person demos or material tests.

Hello to all current and future xToolers! I'm Nick and I'm one of your new mods. Let's chat!

Hello all! I've been using xTool machines for the better part of four years now. Over the last year I've joined their squad and have been doing demonstrations for others. I've hosted local Maker Days. I'll be teaching classes at the local library since they've recently installed a P3. I help with tech support on the Apparel Printer Discord channel. And now I'm here too! I just got done with a 4-day tradeshow hanging out with xTool and meeting all sorts of cool people that wanted to see the machines in action.

So, with my newfound phenomenal cosmic power... Let's chat

How are you doing?

What's your favorite xTool machine?

What do you want to see next in xTool Studio?

What more would you like to see from xTool?

What would you like to see from me in this subreddit?

Thank your for your time. I love our community. I really do! We could all use a little more patience for sure. And some could maybe be better about approaching others with curiosity instead of hostility. But there's so much hope and possibility here. Sorry to be cheesy, but it's true. That's not just limited to the xTool community either. It's the entire maker/creator community. Find your nerd passion and run in that direction!
