Volksfests after Oktoberfest.

I am visiting Munich from the 11th-16th of October. I grew up in Munich in 2002-2006 and am visiting for the first time in a while. I am taking my girlfriend, I am aware that I will have missed Oktoberfest (I was kind of avoiding it).

I am trying to look up if there are any local Volksfests going on in any parts of Munich during the week I'm there just to give my girlfriend a small taste of the German beer festival spirit. Any suggestions?

Ex Neufahrn resident who lived opposite the festplatz, I need my cotton candy and death trap festival rides.

Does anybody know how to fix Lumix lab crashing on every photo I try to load?

Every time I click on a photo to edit the app crashes. I have deleted all photos that were imported so completely clean slate installed the app and have allowed it limited access to specific photos. It still crashes every time. This is a bit game breaking for me and the Lumix system if I can't get this working 😑. Anyone had a similar issue? Or able to suggest anything I havent already done?

Red Rising 1-3

Just finished Morning Star. I started reading Red Rising on Friday. Took 4 days to finish, Golden Son took about 33 hours and Morning Star I read in 24 hours 😅. I am not sure if I should continue with the rest of the series or have a break. I will add that I read through audiobooks so I mostly just went through my usual routine of a day while listening all day.

Think I need to maybe switch up to a Fantasy pallette cleanser.

My 2026 reads so far. Hastily put together.

I also finished Circe by Madeline Miller last night after I did the tier list definitely up there in the S. Think it's just what my mind needed some greek mythology to soothe the soul, another month it could be more A tier. I read the Dungeon Crawler Carl series in 5 weeks along with Operation Bounce House. All these books were read from March - now.

Any recommendations? I currently have a lot of books ready to go, have started on Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero but I'm struggling with the Screenplay style writing.

Edit: Fulgrim and Witches Abroad were read start of January. I checked goodreads and I rated Fulgrim a 5 star so I wildly undervalued it on this tier list 😅. My memory is obviously not as good as I thought.
