went to traverse city, michigan. overindulged. third coast bakery is absolutely amazing

bagel sandwich with vegan egg, sausage, and cheese (could not even tell it was vegan at all), cookie sandwich, thin mint donut, smores donut all from third coast! then from milk and honey, i got a matcha ice cream with whipped cream and a butter pecan with sweet cream base instead of vanilla! then another butter pecan from moomers, and a saigon pho and mama's tofu from the good bowl! i gained like 5 lbs lmao.

edit: i got 4 of those bagel sandwiches and took 2 home😭 i ate two in one sitting with the donuts and chocolate chip cookie sandwich and honestly i think i distended my stomach. about an hour after eating the two ice creams from milk and honey btw.

i have graves disease along with celiac and reynauds, and that is quite literally the diagnostic criteria for this. i am not sure why none of my medical team has told me i have this, maybe they just didn't realize or maybe it is under-recognized. is it even considered self diagnosing at this point when i am literally diagnosed with the diagnostic criteria? it is literally defined by having graves disease and celiac, noth of which i am diagnosed with. im genuinely a little annoyed that i have not been told about this.

i have an awesome endocrinology team, and when i was 12, i got diagnosed with graves, and they made the decision to remove my thyroid. it was actually an emergency, my T4 was around 50. i was diagnosed with graves and had a thyroidectomy in the same week. anyways, u of m was awesome with it, i am 19 now and have barely any scar or symptoms. i take my levothyroxine every morning and have absolutely no problems anymore. is it like larping to say i have graves disease? it feels like since i have no symptoms anymore that it is weird to say it.
