Another find in the family cabin.

Another find in the family cabin.
Found in the family cabin, filled with a bunch of cookie cutters. From what I found, Pepperidge Farm hasn’t used this logo since 1997.
Posting screenshots and linking to the OG post since this sub doesn’t allow reposts.
TL;DR I’m new to this crippling addiction we call sock knitting, and quickly learned that I far prefer 9” circulars over magic loop. Which patterns/knitters have you found to be more adaptable for knitting on 9” circulars? Also open to suggestions on how to make adjustments for knitting with 9” circulars over magic loop or DPNs.

After combing this sub for suggestions best patterns for first timers, I chose to start with Crazy Sock Lady’s Vanilla Socks specifically written for 9” circulars. My hands are on the smaller side so I fell in love with 9” circulars not only because of that but also because knitting in the round leaves less room for error than magic loop.
For my second pair I made Summer Lee’s Weekend Socks in one color. I really liked this pattern and while her pattern writing was a bit ambiguous at times, I found it very easy to use 9” over magic loop.
For my third, I made the Hermione socks that everyone raves about for beginners but found it extremely confusing to adapt! But maybe that’s just me?
Please forgive me if this seems like a dumb question, but the Hermione sock made me downright anxious about doing something wrong when it came down to the heel flap, continuing the pattern, etc.
I’m not the best with numbers and I don’t quite have a grasp on how to manipulate them for better fits, but I *am* a pretty intuitive knitter when it comes to tweaking patterns to my preference. I just find that many of the patterns written for DPNs or magic loop aren’t very forgiving when it comes to using different methods/preferences.
Any and all help would be VERY much appreciated! I’ve been absolutely loving this sub and it’s inspired me to push myself as a knitter and made me excited rather than scared to learn how to use multiple colors.
Helloooo fellow BWTs! Looking to switch up date night a little to when things are a bit less crowded (hopefully). Looking for ideas besides the usual dinner and drinks, or places for dinner and drinks that are typically not as busy on Wednesdays.
We’re both on the east side (UES and Kips Bay) but willing to travel a bit.
(Mods, I didn’t know which flair fit best so feel free to change.)
