a Masterpiece in a forbiden Genre: Happy Hardcore - Dune - Dune (1995)

If there is one genre that nobody who claims to love music likes, then it's happy hardcore—that mid-90s Euro-techno trash, that state fair music, Smurf music. It's that hyper-commercial VIVA and Bravo music genre that led to the most terrible music sin ever in the form of Scooter. It's cheesy, it's cheap, and it lacks any depth. Well, that's true... except it isn't. There was a spot in time, the year 1995, in which that music made sense and a masterpiece in this genre was produced.

Yes, the music is naively hyper-optimistic and there is no grime in it—BUT that is also true for Mozart, The Mamas & the Papas, and the early Beatles. And yet, the quality of the songwriting, the build-ups, and the ridiculous sense for melody and harmony, combined with the background of the demoscene, audio trackers, and the feel for technoid grooves, made this album stand out.

Also, the overall mystic vibe—that sense of "there is something out there"—turned this into almost a concept album. This album is a gem, a masterpiece in a genre in which it is supposedly not possible to create a masterpiece.

Institutional Discrimination and Weaponized Moderation: How r/Christianity Protects Hate Speech While Banning LGBTQ+ Defenders

Institutional Discrimination and Weaponized Moderation: How r/Christianity Protects Hate Speech While Banning LGBTQ+ Defenders

I am writing this post to document and expose the systemic, institutional double standards practiced by the moderation team of r/Christianity. While the subreddit claims to be a space for open theological discussion, its moderation policies in practice function as a shield for bigoted harassment, while aggressively silencing LGBTQ+ users who defend themselves.

 1. The Pretext: Criminalizing Tone While Protecting Dehumanization

Recently, I was permanently banned from r/Christianity for a glaringly engineered reason. During a debate, I called out an overtly bigoted user by calling them a "bigot." The moderation team immediately swooped in to issue a ban under the guise of enforcing their policy against "personal attacks" (Rule 1.4).

This is a classic authoritarian tactic: reducing a factual description of discriminatory behavior to a mere "insult" in order to justify policing the tone of the marginalized group, rather than addressing the hate speech of the aggressor.

 1. The Evidence: The Dehumanization and Pathologization of Queer People

To understand why this is a case of systemic inequality, one must look at what the r/Christianity moderators actively choose to tolerate under the banner of "theology." As documented in available screenshots of these exchanges:

Homosexuality as a Disease: Users are routinely permitted to pathologize queer lives, describing homosexuality as a disease, a psychological sickness, or a moral rot that has "invaded" a generation.

Constant Name-Calling and Slurs: While the word "bigot" triggers an immediate permanent ban, fundamentalist users are allowed to engage in relentless, targeted name-calling, labeling LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies as "wicked," "ignorant," "servants of the devil," and "degenerate."

Theological Extremism: The platform openly allows users to post extreme claims stating that human sexual orientation is “purely of the Devil”—a statement that borderlines historical Christian heresy (Manichaeism) by attributing divine creative powers to Satan, solely used to strip queer people of their humanity.

None of these instances—which explicitly target, pathologize, and attack the core existence of LGBTQ+ individuals—are deemed breaches of the subreddit's safety or civility guidelines.

 1. Proving Intent: A Personally Motivated, Retaliatory Ban

The institutional failure becomes undeniable when analyzing the timing and nature of the ban. This was not an objective application of subreddit rules; the ban was a personally motivated, retaliatory strike by moderators who felt caught and exposed.

When confronted with the glaring hypocrisy of their own platform—where structural hate speech is codified as protected "religious opinion" while basic defense is penalized—the moderators chose to silence the mirror rather than face their own bias. They weaponized the "personal attack" rule precisely because they had no logical, theological, or ethical counter-argument left. The ban was enacted in bad faith because the moderation team felt textually cornered by precise language and chose to abuse their institutional power to eliminate the critique. Conclusion: A Haven for Bigotry

This is intentional, unequal treatment. By forcing queer users to sit quietly while their existence is debated, pathologized, and demonized, r/Christianity has created a safe haven for bigotry. The moment you use precise language to call out this hypocrisy, the moderators reveal their own fragility, take it personally, and abuse their power to remove you.

This platform operates under a profound hypocrisy. It is a broken system that actively protects the oppressor while criminalizing the defender.

Kraftwerk - historical analysys

gna somebody postet a post and ask about a historical analysis for Kraftwerk, so i worte and wrote and wrote, and after i klick in send, the OP deleted his post.. so i will poste my personal historical analysis of Kraftwerk in a Post for myself 😄

Im a hardboiled fan of kraftwerk, especialy their masterpiece computerwelt.

BUT the last few weeks i start to explore the electronic music history deeper and i have come to the conclution, that kraftwerk is a bit overhyped.. and the reason i say that is

- soft cell

- silver apples

- Ultravox

Kraftwerks album computerwelt (<- i will never call any kraftwerk album with the english title, never xD) came out in sommer 1981, soft cells non stop erotic cabaret in in spring 1981. Krafwerk soundet like the 80s, that typical, somewhat sterile and often intellectual spirit

and now listen to soft cells "a man could get lost" . That is deeply 90s clubsound, almost 10 years more futuristic as kraftwerk. and its sweaty and dirty.. like a technoclub in the 90s.

why then kraftwerk is hyped? its the sterility.. soft cell where SEX! dirty, gay, sadomaso, drug, prostitution, there is a danger, the feeling of uniesiness.. and soft cell where genies to made a horromovie out of every sweet melody - Kraftwerk where clean - no uneasyness for the television and the public. a bit strange, but easy to consume, therefor soft cells influence fall under the radar.

and then there is silver apples. if kraftkwerk invented the boombox sound of the 80s at the beginnig of the 80s, and soft cell the clubsoud of the 90 also at the beginning of the 80s. silver apples invented the rave sound of the 2000s in the late 60s - their oscilations i probabluy the first time ever u hear a rave signal. And like Kraftwerk, they build their own instruments. they build their audio gear out of old aircraftparts from the second worldwar.

and then there is Ultravox - Mr. X, releaced in in 1980. if u ever heared the first records out of detroid under the magic label "underground resistance" u imediatly hear the influence.

so, pure from a musical stanpoint, Kraftwerk where not that revolutionary, they where part of a movement.

BUT, and its a big BUT. on a conceptional level, Kraftwerk where fahr fahr away form any other band. while the music of kraftkwerk may be not that revolutonary, their workethos, their image, the topics of the sound, they where. i mean, back to the album computerwelt. if u listen to computerliebe oder computerwelt, the topics (lonlyness behind the screen and complete survilance) are actual as ever. But also the denial of stardom, the production of music in an workplace envoirnment including shifthours, strict drug and alcohol prohibation during work and even treated musicans like employees. that was new (well almost, there was johnny ramone, but thats another story)

so, the conclusion is: i will always love Kraftwerk, they provided a complete package of music, philosophy, visuals and lyrics, that is compelte emersive and createt ideas oft the future. but from a musical standpoint, they where not as great as they where sold in media. i mean.. still.. on a super high level of skill, but it think, Soft Cell, Ultravox (at least their two good albums) and Silver Apple are much more interesting to listen - especialy becasue the steriliy of Kraftwerk not often have the emotional atachementpoint, that the other 3 have

(also to mention: Wendy Carlos, Gerschon Kishron, Daly Derbyshire, Gary Numan, Fad Gadget and Suicide)

Ban from r/christianity

hi, hope its fine, to post here, because its funny.

Lot of u know me from r/Christianity - im a loud and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and battle all who call us Abomination and such. the last 2 days, the Slurs and Namecallng toke overhand, and, as i am, start to question, why its ok, to call us Abomination or possessed by Deamons and the Mods dont delete the posts, even after Multible flagging

And now i get banned.. with the justification: i create work. let sink that in - not because i broke a rule or something like that, but because i create work!!!

but it proves my point: i accused the mods of beeing arbitrariness and they bann me with arbriatory reasoning.

it have its Irony, that during the pride month, a lgbtq+ member, that advocates the stopping of discrimination gets banned in a discriminatory way.

r/christianity in is peak homophobic performance proves, how important the fight for our rights is, because STILL - not the ones who called us abominations, diseeses, birth deffects get banned, but the victims of this verbal hatecrimes, becasue we point on it and

create work for the mods

happy pride month 🏳️‍🌈

***********************Edit: they unbanned me***********************

im gay

a short summary of what if been called in this sub the last 24 hours:

- an abominaton

- a birth defect

- a disease

- a serialkiller

- a murderer

- possesed by deamons

- possesd by satan

and THATS why we need pridemonth, because its 2026 and still the right of not be harrassed and discriminated for once sexual idendity is kicked underfoot. and not as an exeption, but as the norm. LGBTQ+ is still the scrapegoat for bigots and the protection of our right not to be harrassed and discriminated is basicly ignored.

btw: during writing this post, statisticly one gay person in the western world was beaten to death and 2 others made suicide because they cant handle the hate anymore

golden rule

i had an interesting discussion in a comment . i dont wanna expose or blame the other person, because the discussion was civilized, so i dont mention the name. im just curious how others see the difficulty to fit the golden rule (matth 7:12, its allways matthew, love that evangelium 😍)

user:

> Yea, so…that’s actually from the Bible.

>Matthew 7:12

>12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

>So that’s not a “higher moral standard” than the God of the Bible. That’s THE standard of the God of the Bible.

noob-f

>how fits the golden rule the homophobic bs in the bible? why should homosexuals been killed and called an abomination when NOTHING about homosexuality is against the golden rule?

>i HAVE higher standarts

id like to see your thoughs about that.

oh btw:
