I’m a new rider. Took the msf course just last month. I’m having an issue where when I’m riding and I start to down shift to 1st, at a stop light for example, my bike will shut off and won’t start back up. This has happened a couple times on the road and a few times at home when test riding. I’m riding a little 125cc for now just to learn the basics and it’s carbureted. I’ve tuned it perfectly so it idles about 1.7k rpms. I’ve had a couple people look at my bike and they always have to push the bike hard to get it started. Idk if I’m doing something wrong or downshifting wrong but any insight helps. Thank You.

I bought a Uplus battery off Amazon but it seems to die quickly. Actually just an hour ago I broke down not too far from my house on my way back from the store and had to walk my bike all the way home.

Looking to get a new carb for the Vader but every video I watch the say 19,22,26mm carbs and intake manifolds. I’ve never worked on engines but want to try it. Does it absolutely matter the size of the carb and intake or does depend on what I’m willing to spend? Thanks.
