Rant about Ns getting away with almost ridiculous amount of stuff

I honestly don’t know how people tolerate Ns.

A few days ago, I was travelling from Ommen to Groningen. I was supposed to arrive at 00:10, but because of multiple disruptions and delays I didn’t get home until 6:30 AM. It turned into a 6+ hour journey, and I ended up stranded in the middle of the night waiting for replacement transport.
Today, I thought I’d play it safe. I had a meeting in Ommen at 11:30 AM, so I left Groningen at 6:30 AM—five hours early—to make sure I wouldn’t be late.
And yet, thanks to today’s disruptions, I’m still going to arrive late.
I completely understand that things like weather, signal failures, and infrastructure issues happen, and I know they’re not always within NS’s control. But when leaving five hours early still isn’t enough to reliably make a trip of around an hour, it’s incredibly frustrating.
I can’t even get to work on time
Like if any other company did something similar there would be larger consequences,
Am I the only one that feels that there should be?

Is this normal, how do I break the cycle

I am generally rather social but when hit with a burnout I keep to myself even though it pushes me further down the rabbit hole, I then procrastinate cause I am in the creative field and if I am burnt out and work the work is shit, but if I dont work I dont get paid and have a shit ton of work piling up and that overwhelms me further making me burnout even more,
Like at times I reach a point where I just want to crawl up to a corner and just be, but thinking about the consequences of that makes me spiral further even before I do it
Is this a normal or is it just a me thing that is in my mind and I need to push it away and just push forward no matter what, I remember having times like this last year or the year before I just dont remember how I solved it and got on with life

Extremely frustrating, (admins if this is not appropriate for the sub reddit please delete)

I submitted my MacBook for repairs as it suddenly would not turn on, I did this on the 13th of April at Apple Amsterdam

The guy handling my case took it in the back and returned and said he sees water marks at the edges but nothing on the board or anything.
He said it should take 5 days to be done, I said fair enough do you guys have a loaner or anything I could rent from Apple so that I can at least work during that time.
He said no but I could purchase a MacBook and return it within 2 weeks for no charge

Since he said 5 days, I said okay fair enough let me buy the cheapest MacBook Air on my credit card and return it when my laptop comes back, it shouldn't take so long right? and at least that way I can do my basic shortlisting and stuff in those 5 days instead of my heavy work that my laptop normally would handle (2023 M2 Max 96 gb ram)

So I reserved the date on my calendar and did not plan anything for the day cause I would need to travel to Amsterdam from Groningen and back (2 to 3 hours one way) (Amsterdam because I believed I would get the fastest service at apples main store rather than their authorized third party centers)

5 days later I am told that the parts have not arrived the new estimate is Wednesday

I kept my schedule on Wednesday free so that I could travel but they did not update me about it and trying to get in touch with apple Amsterdam over call took up quite a bit of my day as they were not at all easy to get in touch with

And apparently it was still not done, I politely explained that this was my work laptop and I am not able to work and to which they told me that it is registered as a consumer product and will be treated as such I can either wait or the repair will be stopped and I can take a non functional laptop back(their exact words)

I tried to escalate it as I was worried that I would be charged in full for the MacBook Air I have bought now as it is approaching 2 weeks I finally got through to a floor manager I asked him for a deadline he refused it, however he extended the return of my laptop to 4 weeks which was helpful but keep in mind it can only handle the basics still and keeps freezing every time I try and throw the more complex work at it

Anyway we now are at the end of 3 weeks and I have not been updated and so I called the center and I got someone who said they would escalate it to the floor manager

The floor manager was the same guy I got prior who extended my return
I expressed the fact that I can not work
The guy legit says there is nothing I can do, he can not give me a deadline, I said since you guys are replacing all the internals and stuff with the exception of a few can I just purchase a refurbished or a new system from you guys and pay the difference he said a flat no
I said we are going on to the 4th week and its really difficult for me to live without earning any money for a month and he said businesses buy a second laptop as a backup to keep incase something happens to one system (like wtf how am i supposed to be buying two 6500 euro laptops as a small buisness? I am not a large company I am a small firm)
and then when I tried pressing for a deadline he said he can't give me one and then proceeds to use the same, you have two choices wait or we give you back the dead laptop
And this is even though I paid quite a chunk of cash for apple care plus for 3 years

So the whole reason for posting this is am I being unreasonable here asking for at least a deadline, or am I doing something wrong

If you guys have any recommendations I would love to hear them
