community sport recommendations

hello! i’m looking to start some sort of new sport or exercise or SOMETHING like that.

I need to stress i am not fit, I’m not athletic or flexible or any of this (i would love to be!) but i need a new hobby that gets me out of the house, ideally with a bit of a team / community feel. i have a two year old, so in terms of team sports i dont think anything with super rigid commitments like leagues or games etc would fit.

i’ve done roller derby and i loved it, but i really injured myself and don’t think i can do something like that again haha. i hate running, i’m really not into yoga and i can’t swim. pretty much anything else i’m open to!

i work 8-5 mon-fri and pick up my son from nursery so would have to be post 7pm, in south bristol, preferably not £45 a go. i feel like ive exhausted local facebook pages and noticeboards so any advice is greatly appreciated :) thank you!

help with lloyds switch bonus - DDs not eligible?

Apologies for the novel, this is quite convoluted and i can’t quite make head nor tail of it. i completed the switch to Lloyds premier for a £500 bonus (posted about it before here and lots of very lovely people gave me advice).

I transferred two credit card direct debits that pre dated the switch. The day of the switch application i set up a Plum and Paypal direct debit with my previous Barclays account, but i’m being told these did not switch over to Lloyds within the switching timeframe and therefore aren’t eligible for the switching bonus.

I have the direct debit mandates for both of them for my barclays account, both dated before the date of the switch. All four direct debits appeared in my Lloyds account at the same time. I’ve spoken to two people from Lloyds, one who told me they weren’t considered active and one who told me they didn’t switch and to contact Barclays.

The issue i have is that i cannot find a copy of switch T+Cs as the offer has ended, and the chap from Lloyds basically told me he doesn’t have them but knows what they said haha. The girl i also spoke to says it detailed that the direct debits had to have paid out within 13 months which again, i don’t remember seeing or reading that but could be wrong obviously, but also they now can’t provide that documentation and it’s just their word haha.

Does anyone know what i can do here?

hi team! i got burnt earlier in the year by completely misreading the eligibility terms of the lloyds switch bonus offer, and as i didn’t actually get the bonus i’m hoping i’ll still be eligible.

i have a couple of questions because i’ve combed the website and can’t seem to get clarity (but if this is me being a moron, please do let me know)

- does the switch have to be completed or started by 30/4 to be eligible for the bonus?

- active direct debit - i have switched accounts around a couple of times this year already for the purpose of collecting bonuses. the CA i’m intending to switch to lloyds has three DD set up, but as i’ve switched them from my “main” account, they’ve not been taken from the intended switch account yet and so they aren’t showing up in my banking app. as it stands they are not set to come out before 30/4 - will these still count as active DDs?

- if i opened and closed a lloyds account already this year with no bonus granted am i even still eligible for the offer?

thanks in advance!
