IITian boy. Looking for a partner to Target machine learning for placements. I have a plan.

Hi everyone,

I'm an IIT student studying machine learning and its applications.

my goal over the next 12-18 months is to build strong expertise in Machine Learning/ Deep Learning. I am looking for a serious and consistent study partner who is aiming for ML/DL too.

We can follow courses together (Andrew Ng, CS224W), discuss papers, work on projects, solve ML interview questions, keep each other accountable, share resources and progress updates.

My target timeline is to prepare for internships/PPOs and industry ML roles by 2027.

If you're genuinely committed to learning ML/DL and building a strong portfolio, feel free to comment or DM with: Your background, current skill level, learning goals, time commitment per week.

Let's build something meaningful together.

M, Looking for a Friend to Try the “Positive Points System” for being productive.

I am a research scholar. I’ve been consistent with my work and following a disciplined routine, and having an accountability partner would make the process even better. Someone to share progress with, stay accountable, and push each other to improve daily.

I’m using a simple Positive Points System for myself. Basically, whenever I do something productive — like completing a study session, hitting the gym, finishing a task, avoiding distractions, coding, reading, waking up on time, or staying consistent — I give myself positive points.

The idea is simple:
Do good things → earn points → track progress → compete a little → improve daily.

Your age, subject or field does not matter. You could be studying, doing research, coding, preparing for exams, or learning any skill. I’m just looking for someone serious and consistent who genuinely wants accountability.

If this sounds useful to you, DM me.

How do you spend your day on campus during vacation.(Genuine question)

I genuinely wanna know how you people spend your day on campus as a research scholar. To be more productive, I have cut all the distractions. I wake up before 6. I exercise daily, try playing different sports, and I go to play badminton. I reach my lab by 9:30 am. I don't use my phone much while I am doing my work. I kind of complete a lot of work by 5 pm.

But the question is, what after that?
I have friends, but some of them have gf/bf, so they get busy with them. Some of them start their work late, so they aren't available during the evening.

So I would like to hear it from you, "only single" ppl, how do you spend this time on campus?

M, Wanna know how I started to be more productive in my studies and work?

I've been trying something that's made me surprisingly productive.

Instead of relying on motivation, I made a simple points system for my day. I earn points for things like waking up early, going to the gym, studying, reading, learning ML/AI, and lose points if I oversleep or waste time.

I also quit social media (Instagram is limited to under 10 minutes), cut out distractions, and now I'm just focused on building myself one day at a time.

I can literally show you the screenshots that I am not even opening instagram these days even tho I have it on my phone.

It's honestly turning productivity into a game, and it's been working really well.

If anyone else is trying to level up their life, stay accountable, or build better habits, you're welcome to join me. We can share daily scores, keep each other accountable, and grow together.

Who's in? 💪

M, Looking for an Accountability Partner for fitness

Hi everyone,

I'm a research scholar at an IIT. We have access to excellent facilities here, whether it's sports, the gym, or other fitness activities. Yet, despite having everything available, I often find myself not going regularly.

I sometimes use my research work as an excuse to skip exercise, telling myself I'll start once things get less busy. Of course, that day never really comes.

I'm looking for an accountability partner, someone who also wants to be more consistent with fitness, whether that's going to the gym, playing a sport, running, or simply staying active.

And if you're wondering, "Don't you already have plenty of friends around to do this with?", that's probably a conversation worth having. 😄

If you're interested, feel free to DM me.
