Solopreneurs & MSMEs: How many bank accounts or e-wallets do you use to run your business?

Just curious about everyone's setup. Do you keep all your revenue in one account, or do you split your funds across different banks for daily operations, taxes, and personal savings?

I'm trying to understand the financial reality of being a freelancer/VA—what is the hardest part for you?

Hi everyone. I’m doing some research into the lives of Filipino freelancers and VAs. I’ve never freelanced myself, but I know it's a very different path compared to traditional 9-to-5 corporate work.

I’m curious about how you manage the financial side of things once a client pays you. For those of you doing freelance or VA work:

  • What is the biggest "financial headache" you deal with every month?
  • How do you handle your budget if your income fluctuates from month to month?
  • What has your experience been like dealing with traditional banks (like applying for loans or credit cards) or handling government contributions (taxes, SSS) without a standard corporate setup?
  • How do you prepare for unexpected business expenses, like if your primary equipment suddenly breaks?

I'm not selling anything. I just want to listen and learn from your actual experiences. Thank you for your time.

I'm trying to understand the financial reality of being an OFW—what is the hardest part for you?

Hi everyone. I’m doing some research into the lives of OFWs. I’ve never been an OFW myself, but I see so many people working incredibly hard abroad to support their families back home.

I’m curious about the relationship between the money you send and the goals you have. For those of you abroad (or those with family abroad):

  1. What is the biggest "financial headache" you deal with every month?
  2. Do you feel like you and your family are on the same page about how the money is spent?
  3. What is the one thing that keeps you from "coming home for good" (uwi) sooner?

I'm not selling anything. I just want to listen and learn from your actual experiences. Thank you for your time.

As a patient, I hate long clinic wait times. So I built a simple app to solve it. Dentists/Clinicians, would love your thoughts!

Hi Docs!

I’m a local software dev looking for dentists/clinicians insight. I'm posting this because as a patient (in pedia clinics and dental clinics specifically), the experience of long waiting times is a huge personal frustration for me - its always a minimum of 1 hour and sometimes up to 4 hours. I kept thinking it would be great if a system existed where I could just leave and come back when it's almost my turn.

So, I prototyped a simple "virtual waitlist." A patient scans a QR code upon arrival (or secretary manually enters in the system), leaves to grab coffee or wait in their car, and gets an automated Messenger ping when they are close to being called so they can head back.

Since I'm looking at this purely from a patient's POV, my one question for you is: From the clinic's perspective, what is the biggest roadblock that would prevent you from using a system like this? (e.g., natatakot ba na hindi bumalik agad yung patient, dagdag trabaho ba sa receptionist, etc.?)

Any input on this matter would greatly help, thank you Docs!
