Help with Raven-esque outfit!

TLDR advice and tips on how to Ravenize my outfit?

Hi everyone! I thrifted this denim jumpsuit a few months ago because it gave Raven vibes, but once I got home and my thrift goggles were off I was like when the hell am I ever going to wear this 🙃 I told myself “at least I’m all set if I ever get invited to a that’s so raven themed party”. LO AND BEHOLD there’s a Disney channel throwback event going on in my city this month 😀 so I’m trying to brainstorm ways to accessorize and really make it obvious that Raven is what I’m going for lol.

I’ve been searching for inspo from the show because I could’ve sworn she’s worn a denim jumpsuit before, but I guess I was just thinking of the scene above (2nd pic). I’ve been searching depop and Vinted for a denim newsboy cap type of hat. Maybe just amalgamizing a few of her signature looks, like adding a funky scarf or something? And good God I don’t even know where to start with shoes. I live in gym clothes so this has been challenging for me 🥴

Thanks!

Got my first fans yesterday!

I’ve been totally mesmerized by fan flow recently so I really wanted to get my own pair. After a couple of months of indecision i finally pulled the trigger on some Defworks fans and I love them! I think this may be my new favorite flow art. Also holy arm workout lol

I don’t fly often, but i dread when I have to

TLDR taking a flight in next month and dreading it almost every day

Hey everyone! Just looking to vent to some people who get it. I’ll be visiting my great grandfather next month for his birthday party. It’s about a 3 hour flight and I would seriously consider a 20 hour drive or 60 hour train ride instead if I wasn’t also bringing my 1 year old. The last time I flew was 2 years ago with my oldest who was around the same age, to visit the same grandfather, and everything went great! But the fear always resets since I don’t fly very often.

I’ve flown a lot of times, my first flight was at 4yrs old to Disney world and I have very fond memories (and cute pictures of me in the cockpit). Flew a couple of times as a teen and plenty of times as an adult (even overseas once) and I have no idea when or why the flight anxiety started. My general anxiety got pretty bad in my mid 20s so unfortunately flying became one of my biggest fears

I am just way too aware of how much space is between me and the ground 🥲 and the statistics do NOTHING for me. I know a fatal accident is highly unlikely, but “it does happen, and what if it happens this time?” The helicopter/plane collision from a while back was at an airport near my hometown, what if I had been visiting family and that had been me?

I keep going through phases of being totally calm about it and borderline panic attack. Times like this really make me wish for teleportation (which would introduce a whole new anxiety since I’ve read “The Jaunt”. IYKYK lol)

Etsy fan vendor suggestions?

TLDR: have an Etsy gift card, which fan would be best?

Hi everyone! I’ve been sitting on an Etsy gift card for a while (a little over $100). since buugeng are generally cheaper so I could get them on my own dime, and my husband said I could buy a staff for my birthday, I decided to use the gift card on fans, but I can’t decide which one to get

So I’ve narrowed it down to:
* WorldFire Props - seems to be a newer vendor, so not sure if anyone has experience there but the cheaper price is appealing obviously
* Defworks - I really like the look of these fans, having a hell of a time deciding between that or the lotus shape
* Sacred Flow Art - cheaper as well, and also they’re a day trip away so maybe I could save on shipping if I reached out?
* Scarlet Lizard - longest shipping along with defworks so idk, but also heard good things here

Maybe I’m overthinking it but just wanted to see if anyone had some insight before I pulled the trigger! Thank you ~

Getting back into shuffling

Short and sweet, but I’ve been on a bit of a shuffle kick this week, after a few years of stagnation. I’ve been pregnant twice since 2023, so between pregnancy (rapid quick bouncing does not agree with a baby bump 🥴) and taking care of babies I have been prioritizing flow toys over shuffling as it’s less physically demanding. But it has felt so good to be able to stomp one out again. Now I just need to work on my stamina 😅

Best Etsy vendors?

TLDR need help deciding on a new flow toy, and strictly Etsy vendors!

I have an Etsy gift card for a little over $100, I don’t buy much on Etsy so I figure I should treat myself to a sizable flow toy discount (because unfortunately 100 bucks doesn’t cover most toys 😅)

Basically I’ve been torn between a new dragonstaff, tech fans, or buugeng!

I bought a hoopyfroods dragonstaff years ago, I neglected it for a long time but I’ve recently been really into dragon flow and have leveled up a little, so I think a new staff would be a nice motivator. I’ve always eyed the Flowbonacci (I’m in love with that spiral shape) but they aren’t on Etsy and I kind of want one with fire wicks so I can burn eventually

BUT I’ve also been really admiring technical fan flow recently, so maybe I should invest in some nice fire fans because I’d definitely like to burn eventually (obviously I’m really into the idea of spinning fire lol)

and buugeng…omg I love buugeng flow, it tickles my brain. I’ve really wanted to become more in tune with my body when dancing and finding a more sensual flow, and I think buugeng would help a lot. They also seem to be the cheapest option but not by much

Fourth option! I’ve been hooping since 2020 so maybe it’s time to invest in a fire hoop?

Thanks!

Hi! I have this free people shirt that I’m on the fence about keeping, and I can’t identify what era the tag is from. I’ve only ever seen the golden-looking metal tags so I was curious to see if anyone had any idea? Thanks!
