Day 17 of not getting my money from eToro

Hi everyone,

As promised yesterday, I will post daily updates on my current situation with etoro.

On 22, 23, 24, 25, 27 of April I have made several withdrawals. From all of these withdrawals only ONE has reached my bank account.

On the date of 29.04.2026 I have reached out to etoro support asking for assistance and pointing out that there might be an issue within their system because out of 2 withdrawals made in the same day, I have received only one.

Today's update :

Today's I was waiting for a reply on my ticket where I have asked for an update yesterday.

The ticket has not received a reply to my request.

This is the second day in a row when I am asking for an update and my request is ignored.

This is the 17th day on waiting for either an update on my situation or for a resolution (the resolution would obviously be to get my money)

Today I have been contacted by the reddit etoro team which promised that they will reach out to the adequate team in order to provide mw with an update on my situation.

I DID NOT receive any update or reply. I have reached out on the ticket hours ago, once again in order to ask for any update on my situation and that was successfully IGNORED.

At the moment I have requested multiple updates on my situation and all of my requests have been ignored.

I will keep updating this so everyone should be aware that when you have an issue with etoro, they will not hurry to assist you. They will ignore you, some of them might even get angry at you for reaching out to them (example is their agent named Daniela who almost scolded me for reaching out to her on live support asking for updates).

Until the present moment I am kept in the dark. I do not know what is happening with my money and no one is answering my requests.

For anyone wondering : no this is not a fresh account, and yes i have multiple successful withdrawals .

Day 16 of not getting my money from eToro

Hi everyone,

As promised yesterday, I will post daily updates on my current situation with etoro.

On 22, 23, 24, 25, 27 of April I have made several withdrawals. From all of these withdrawals only ONE has reached my bank account.

On the date of 29.04.2026 I have reached out to etoro support asking for assistance and pointing out that there might be an issue within their system because out of 2 withdrawals made in the same day, I have received only one.

I was informed that all of the withdrawals are within their time limit and that I should reach out to them after the time limit of 10 days has passed.

Said and done, after 10 days I was back asking for updates on my withdrawals. At that moment I was informed that the withdrawals can take up to 15 days to be processed.

5 more days have passed. Yesterday when I have reached out to them I was informed that their investigation has a time limit until 29 MAY to provide an update.

Can you even imagine this?

After 3 weeks of not assisting me in any way and not helping me in recovering my money they said that I should wait 2 more weeks for a potential update. Mind they said UPDATE and did not even mention about an actual resolution that would imply me getting my money back.

Until now etoro has failed in multiple scenarios :

- They can not keep up with their own timings. First the app said a 10 day withdrawal time. Then the support agent said 15 days. And now those 15 days have passed.

- Then they said that they might provide me an update on 29 MAY. Nothing about returning my money.

- Another of their agents which is called a "supervisor" said that they can not be held accountable if the money are lost on the way to my account. This is where started to think that they have actually lost my money and just told me it's not their fault and to move on basically.

- I have asked for updates on the ticket since Last week and I only got some documents yesterday after I HAVE REACHED OUT TO SUPPORT ON LIVE CHAT. otherwise i wouldnt even have gotten those documents.

- I also think that their reddit team is here only to try and maintain a good image for them as they have quite a few issues. They will ask your username and ticket number, they try to look concerned for us to think they are actually working on it. But in reality i have never seen any improvement on the ticket communication despite reaching out to them 2-3 times. I was ignored when asking for updates even though they have promised they will reach out to the support team to provide me updates. Nothing has changed in reality.

-Today no one on their side has reached out to me. We should be well over the time limit but i did not get any communication from them.

-Looking at other posts here and observing the way they do things, I think that the only reason they did not block me is because i still have a few thousands in their platform.

I will be back on day 17 with more updates on how they have successfully ignored all my emails.

Day 15 of not getting my money

Hello again everyone,

From this day on I will make daily posts to keep you updated on how etoro manages their customer issues. Below I will add as many details as possible so everybody is aware of their deplorable customer service.

Also I consider very important that everyone must know that their MONEY IS AT RISK. No matter what etoro representatives told me. The money is at risk of being lost after so many time has passed without a proper answer or help being received.

I have the following withdrawals made :

On 22, 23, 24, 25, 27 of April I have made several withdrawals. From all of these withdrawals only ONE has reached my bank account.

On the date of 29.04.2026 I have reached out to etoro support asking for assistance and highlighting that their systems might have some issues since only ONE of my withdrawals has reached my bank account and from that day on, I talk to them almost daily asking for some updates without receiving any real help and not even a proper update.

I have provided all the documents that etoro has requested

I had DAYS without anyone replying to my tickets while I was asking for updates.

Their agent Daniela is one of the worst agents they have, I really wonder how they keep her. She was almost angry because I have reached out to ask for updates. Imagine the audacity.

I can also share my discussion with her to show how a support agent SHOULD NOT behave.

One of their support members, Claudia told me the following thing :

"We understand these funds are important to you, and we will notify you as soon as we receive an update. It may take up to 15 business days for our payment providers to process your payment."

Okay, this is the 15th day and naturally I have reached out to etoro customer support.

Today, after 15 days have passed I was told the following :

"Regarding your query, the trace of funds have been initiated on the 7th of May, 2026 and the time frame to receive a response is 15 business days, which excludes weekends and public holidays. As such, the last day when we can expect updates is the 29th of May"

So basically they told me that after A MONTH I will PROBABLY get an update on the date of 29th. They did not say anything about about providing the actual resolution.

So what should the next steps be? wait until 29th May to PROBABLY get on update about my money. This is what they told me and I am not sure they realize how this sounds.

Quick recap :

- Multiple withdrwals made on 22-23-24-25-27

- Only one received on 23 APRIL. Since then NOTHING.

- Multiple tickets opened without any update or real step taken te recover my funds

- Trace of funds opened without any resolution time. probably an mere update on 29th May a whole MONTH after my withdrawal.

- They said it will take up to 15 days for the funds to be processed and those days have passed and they only told me to wait until 29th May to probably get that update.

- I have now waited several weeks and asked for numerous updates. The answers that I got I that I will probably get an update on 29th May.

Has anyone ever went through this?

Tomorrow I will be back with updates on this. I will be posting this daily.

I have made multiple posts these days, attempting to highlight my current experience with etoro support.

I will continue highlighting the issues that I am encountering. Until I will receive an update from etoro.

At the moment I have 1 complaint and 1 ticket raised with etoro. BOTH of these two have been ignored for 72 HOURS now. Yes a full Thursday, Friday and Monday have passed by and etoro did not provide a single update on my situation despite my multiple requests.

This day will surely go by without providing me an update so we will have 96 HOURS without a reply, despite me asking for updates multiple times.

I have opened multiple live chats in order to highlight this issue and ask for updates.

I have replied multiple times on both of my tickets asking for updates.

I have also provided multiple bank statements showing that I did not receive my funds.

The current situation is :

I have withdrawn almost 700$ almost 3 weeks ago. NONE of those funds have reached my account.

In all this time I have raised multiple tickets where I am asking for assistance or updates in live chats. The support agents are all answering with their canned responses and no one is providing me any real help.

Today the complaint had the status changed to "Waiting your reply" but the funny thing is no one replied. They just changed the status, at this point I think they are just making fun of me and they simply just change the status at random.

The ticket was NOT UPDATED AT ALL.

At this point I am worried that I will not even receive the 700$ that I have withdrawn and I also have some more deposits which seem to be at risk since etoro does not refund my money.

Has anyone ever encountered this?

Should I explore my ways to take legal action against etoro?

I will keep on posting everyday here until the issue is fixed. I want people to be aware that THEIR MONEY MIGHT BE AT RISK.

Etoro is a financial entity which should act like a bank and not like a toy company. As long as they are handling people's money they should prove a high quality customer support sevice.

At the present moment etoro looks more like a childs company which is toying with peoples money. They are not interested in their issues and do not seem to care about their customers issues as well.

There are way too many scammers here.

I have created a post but I have received way too many scam messaged from the following users.

Also please note that one of the users was already reported a week ago and is still not banned from here !

This user that was already reported and not banned is u/BraeDaddy .

Now I am adding more users who should be banned for scamming. As mentioned in my older posts I can provide proofs of these users being scammers.

Prolonged waiting time on withdrawal

Hello,

Has anyone waited 10 days or at least 10 days until their etoro withdrawal arrived to their bank?

Currently i am in the 12th day of waiting. The money still did not arrive in my bank account and the support did not provide un update since Thursday/Friday.

Has anyone encountered such a situation?

Following this I got a message from u/BraeDaddy which presents himself as an etoro customer support member.

I already have the confirmation that this is not a real customer suport from etoro so I am letting you know as well.

Maybe someone can even ban? u/BraeDaddy

I can provide all the proofs needed to show that he is a scammer.

Also be aware to u/WoodsAreHome he seems to be associated with u/BraeDaddy . If anyone needs I can provide a proof of all my conversations with these 2 individuals.

I have a quite big problem. Etoro does not seem to help me get my money back.

I have some tickets opened but there i do not receive any helpful details.

I have an amount withdrawn which did not arrive in almost 2 WEEKS and I have some more invested which I obviously am afraid to withdraw because it will be blocked by them again.

Etoro is tryin to buy time or scam my by saying the fund will arrive, but the funny thin is i made 2 withdrawals in the same day and only one was received after 2-3 days. From that moment on i did not get any money.

On suport they dont provide ang reasonable update or help.

I am curious if any had this to happen this and if i should contact my lawyer? I see this as theft...
