I have been with DFPS for several years and am thinking of accepting a position with HHSC. Does anyone have any advice on the differences between working with the two agencies?

I am thinking of purchasing a 2017 Ioniq hybrid with 112,000 miles, will this car last me another 100,000 or should I look into one with fewer miles/newer? TIA

Hello! I am curious about beginning to learn ASL. I looked online and I couldn’t really find anything in the Austin area. Does anyone know where I could look into it?

I just finished my first year of my MSW and I feel like I have no desire to do the assignments and don’t really feel an urgency to do them. I rarely study but it’s also an online program and everything is open note. When I was in my undergrad in a different degree field I loved the assignments and worked really hard on them. I don’t know if it’s that I’ve been working in the social services field for years and it just seems like more work to do after I get done with my actual job. Anyone else experience this?
