How to write a character with schizoaffective disorder?

Sorry if my English is bad or strange.

my character has a childhood with bad (stressful) episodes and severe trauma in adolescence/adulthood after which he closes himself off from the world.

he has a strong emotional reaction to triggers and persistent hallucinations

I'm not sure if I'm picking the right disorder for him. From what I've read, this seems like the most appropriate one.

I'm looking for advice on where or how I can learn more about this. or maybe someone has experience describing similar disorders and has advice. I want to portray this realistically so as not to create misconceptions about the diagnosis.

also a little more detail about lore.

Dan (character), from a fantasy world, so. He has a blood connection to a demon who constantly appears as a voice in his head and tells him what a piece of shit he is. This is one of the factors why Dan begins to have voice hallucinations over time. He also has a lot of traumatic experiences because he helps his caregiver with her work and she does shit like Rick. (from Rick and Morty) Therefore, he observed many unpleasant or cruel scenes, all mixed with a caring "family." Therefore, he develops a stress reaction, where memory lapses begin and he forgets most of the traumatic or stressful experience, and it is only due to certain factors/ triggers that he sometimes remembers it.and his traumatic experience is that his guardian dies before his eyes and he is left alone, after which he closes himself off from everything and looks for the killer with a desire for revenge.and this is the reason why his hallucinations are getting worse and he starts to constantly see different silhouettes or some smaller hallucinations, like it seems to him that a cat is running near him, but there is nothing there. A beetle flies, but it's empty there.

I don't know if this is a good representation, or if it can be built like this gradually. I have no idea either., how to describe it in the text itself or in the pictures. how to portray his reactions to stress or triggers

Do I have the right routine/how to build a diet?

English is not my first language, so sorry if anything is written incorrectly or strangely!

to start with my routine

5-10 minute warm-up

leg raises 3x12

plank till failure

Bulgarian Split Squat 3x12

push ups 2x till failure

biceps curls 4x12

hammer curls 4x12

lateral raises 4x12

overhead tricep extensions dumbell 4x12

This is the queue in which I do it. My goal is to do more with my hands. I use 3kg dumbbells. I also practice every other day. Maybe it's better to do it differently?

I do all this at home because I don't have the opportunity to go to the gym yet, but I want to do strength training. I'm not sure about the diet because I didn't eat well before, but if I want visible results, I think it's necessary. For now, my thoughts are to gain the right amount of calories and try to get more protein. I would like to be recommended some foods because I am a picky eater and don't eat much. usually just pasta, eggs, sometimes meat. I think it's time to read about vegetables too, so... I need help! I'm ready to eat everything except cucumbers and mushrooms lol..

Also, if you think it would be better to change something in the routine, please do! I don't know much about this, I've only been doing it for a month and a half.

I'm thinking that I could have warmed up after the workout too. I heard it helps, is that true?

for a diet, then I just want advice! what works well with you and could help a beginner
