Is the 12,000btu a good buy at 509.99 at Lowes?

I just returned my old u model(that had the recall) at Costco cause it was killing the control boards from condensation for some reason. (and had to keep cleaning it once a month).

I swore it was a 12,000btu but only got refunded 300 bucks and am sticker shocked at the ones available now.

2nd time now. A 3/8 drive inside sealed 1/4" packaging

Ordered a 3/8s and 1/4 electric ratchet on the 4v line. First I order a 1/4 and 3/8s, got two 3/8s one in the 1/4 packaging, sealed. Home depot took FOREVER to return it and I ordered another, it too is a 3/8s in a 1/4 packaging :(

Guess I'm not having fun today

Ordered 3/8s and 1/4. The 3/8s came in a box just fine, the "1/4" came in that packaging that took 5 minutes to rip open and immediately become disappointed. Called Home Depot and they only could do a return. Called Ryobi and they "reported it" but I have my doubts. Very frustrating.

Edit. There was a 3/8 ratchet in the sealed 1/4 marked packaging

Why does the Quinn Metric 10pc 3/8 set go up to 22mm but the 1/2 set only goes to 19mm?

Was looking at putting a SAE set together for my truck and was curious about metric for my car.

It makes sense to skip 3/8 when doing building a SAE set to save space because there's overlap between 1/4 and 1/2. When looking at metric sets they give 3/8 a 22mm and skip the 18mm, but then they give 1/2 the 18mm and skip the 22.

I can't seem to wrap my brain around why they would do this.

Is my Dad using his salaried position correctly? He gets PTO and uses it 1:1.

My Father works in IT and from what I've read I'm not sure he's being paid correctly or they're using the "salaried" position incorrectly, in the sense they're talking advantage of him, and him possibly enabling it. I'm fairly certain he's paid the minimum required salary amount, if that.

He gets PTO off any "overtime" he works but if say he wants to get his haircut or a doctor appointment he uses the PTO instead of just doing some of that days work and still getting the full days pay, which from what I've read is how you're supposed to treat it.

If he does use PTO for a full day or partial day he's still engaged to work, even on the weekends or middle of the night he gets called in to go fix something that's broken, a server doing something weird, POS system outta whack, a sensor that's not reading correctly or if there's a alarm going off and it's the police calling(he's pretty far down the list to be called but his bosses never seem to pickup at 2am) and again, its one hour worked, one hour time off even though he's never truly off(always in contact answering phone calls or emails).

He also does physically demanding stuff, sometimes needing to run wire in a ceiling type space or in a warehouse, dig a trench for a wire or install something requiring a scissor lift/ladder.

I'm union and move boxes for a living so I don't know anything about the salaried life besides what I've read, and what I've read is not what he seems to be doing.

Very bad braking and pedal has no graduation. 77' GMC c15 Sierra Grande with Hydroboost

When pressing the brake there is zero brake response and really light till you get almost all the way down, then it gets hard and you get lackluster braking.

The master cylinder was leaking pretty bad out of the rear reservoir, I already replaced it and bled out of the rear right side some but not sure if I did enough(I'm not sure how much is enough)

I did the "pump brake while off turn it on" test and it does get hard and does drop down when you turn it on.

Nothing points to vacuum or the booster but I'm kinda lost at what to look at now.

Budget: preferably 300 800 ish for the body but don't want to immediately feel limited.

Country: USA

Condition: Preferably new, will definitely consider used.

Type of Camera: Not sure what suits my needs vs budget/lens needs.

Intended use: Photography and video

If photography; what style: Lunar/astrophotography, planes at altitude, wildlife, landscapes, nature, macro, models

If video what style: interview, automotive tutorial. Youtube but not streaming.

What features do you absolutely need: A not dumbed down settings suite.

Portability: Not a absolute behemoth but don't want to favor size over features.

Cameras you're considering: Nikon p1100, Canon r50, Canon T7.

Cameras you already have: Nothing "Real"

Notes: I understand the p1100 won't do everything but it has peaked my interest. I've reached the limit of point and shoots along with my phone's pro mode. Tinkered with my sisters dslr but quickly reached it's limit for astro with the available lenses/settings it had.
