Dosing Q

Started 7/13 at 2.5. By the start of week 5, I’ve lost 11 pounds. Food noise has started to come back, but appetite control (feeling full fast) is solid. My prescribing doc recommended going up to 3.5 next week (week 6). I am ok with this… but I read a lot in this sub to stay where you are if it’s working… and I feel like it is. The weight loss was more significant the first 2 weeks, but I am still losing each week even if only a pound. Curious for thoughts.

Stephanie Trotta

She kind of fell off the radar but curious if anyone knows the latest with her? I saw her husband with one of their sons and their daughter in public and was appalled at the way he treated and spoke to the kids. It genuinely made me uncomfortable.

food noise back quickly

I’m in the middle of week 3 of a 2.5 dose. My starting weight was 178 and I’ve lost about 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks.

The food noise was gone almost instantly when I started, but it’s starting to creep back in. My 3rd injection was Monday (today Thursday) so feels soon for it to be wearing off. My weight loss has also stalled. So far I’ve lost nothing this week (I weigh myself daily) which is different from the first 2 weeks when I was losing daily. I understand that initial bit was likely water weight.

Is it possible my body is already getting use to the 2.5 dose and I should increase at the 4 week mark?

Paris in December

ISO Paris hotel recs for early December. Milestone birthday trip. Budget completely open. We appreciate genuine, personalized hospitality. We tend to be more casual, but we’re also comfortable in very formal settings. Prefer more central location but flexible. Would love Eiffel Tower views, amazing hotel bar and Christmas vibes!

My 6 year old son needs three fillings and either two crowns or extractions (to be determined based on updated X-rays closer to the procedure date).

Both dentists who we went to for consult will perform the procedures under general anesthesia with nasal intubation. The first doctor does it in-office and has availability in late May. The second does it in a hospital setting, but the earliest opening is mid July.

We’re struggling with whether to wait and have it done in the hospital, which feels more comfortable to us, or move forward sooner in-office, which may offer a better chance of saving the teeth with crowns instead of needing extractions.

I know this is a nuanced and very personal decision, but I’d truly welcome any input or considerations you might have.

My 6 year old child has failing fillings. We went to a new dentist for a second opinion, and they referred us to two dentists who do dental work under sedation. Both recommended essentially the same treatment plan: three fillings and either two crowns or extractions (to be determined based on updated X-rays closer to the procedure date).
