This sets an amazing precedent for anyone wanting to break into the pro scene with their friends from scratch. Rooting for them!
I hope they make a deep run! This squad's journey deserves a proper YouTube documentary.

The video from Lyte’s channel sparked a healthy community discussion about a game a lot of us love.
A lot of the criticism, though, seems aimed at making the gameplay loop feel more like Overwatch.
The team-up system already works almost identically to Overwatch’s perk system: a binary choice between extra abilities or hero enhancements, with the chance to get a stronger/major version of that ability or perk.
If that’s the direction people keep pushing, how do you keep Rivals from losing its own identity and just becoming a worse version of the game that inspired it?
Just a question that popped into my head after watching players I follow refer to traditional poke comps as “front to back”
Am I misunderstanding something? Is “Front to back” more than just a comp that excels at ranged damage/healing? 🤔
Probably one of my favorite moments this LAN. GenG and Reject have completely changed my opinions about their regions.
Despite my fav team being Swamp, These guys make me want to root for them!
Not saying he’s bad at all, he’s pretty good in ranked. I’m surprised he’s not a consistent hero this patch for the pros. I wonder why he doesn’t fit? His Hela team up seems pretty consistent to secure picks/upgrades.
I’m biased, He’s my favorite type of Tank to spectate!
Until I started watching pro play, I was not aware of aim assist on PC if you had a controller? Is that true? Can you use it in ranked on PC if you’re on a controller?
I ask because coaches like Fauwkz and other pro player make jokes about people who play Emma and Angela have an edge if they’re a controller player
Swamp Gaming pulled out Blade against 100 Thieves and WON!
What is this game even about bro!
Jokes aside, I thought my experience from hero shooters such as Overwatch and Marvel Rivals would translate well... Nah.
Never played MOBAs before, so my knowledge on the game's Macro is HORRENDOUS!
Fun game though!
Deadlock is my first MOBA. I mainly come from hero shooters, specifically Overwatch and Marvel Rivals, though I played Rivals more.
The onboarding experience was rough, but I thugged it out. Thankfully, I also managed to convince my friend group to switch from Rivals to Deadlock, which I’m grateful for.
The one thing I still don’t understand is the ranking system. Every time I search for an explanation, I somehow end up even more confused.
In hero shooters, I’m used to seeing a progress bar after each match that shows how close I am to ranking up or deranking. I’ve been stuck at Initiate II for what feels like forever (a month, FAHHHH)
I know I’m not great, again this is my first MOBA so there are fundamentals I dont understand besides off-angles and positioning, but I’ve been going on win streaks with my friends, and my skill rating still hasn’t moved up or down.
So, how exactly does the ranking system work?
