every day i get more irritated about the holloway park housing development

almost £800k and you don't even get a separate living room?? who do they expect to buy these "luxury flats" when you could spend the same amount and get a whole house round the corner.

i can't believe islington council had a generational opportunity to build hundreds of homes for local first time buyers and families, and instead have built hundreds of pointless, overpriced and unsellable flats.

i can't even imagine what landlord would buy these as the service charge is so high the rents would have to be ridiculous for them to be good investments!

Parking advice

Hello, I am looking for somewhere in the Caledonian Road/ Holloway Road area to park in for a couple weeks at the end of August.

Happy to pay but everything online is quite expensive.

Does anyone have any secret tips?

(Im unable to get a council permit as I don't own my car, I am an additional driver on the insurance)

catsitting help - biting and waking at dawn

hello, i'm looking after a 1 year old cat who lives in a studio apartment. He is lovely and playful, but this sometimes goes too far and he starts scratching (drawing blood a couple of times) and sometimes he follows me about and launches on my legs trying to bite. He also keeps waking me up at about dawn (4/5/6am) pawing, clawing and sometimes biting at my hair. His owner says he's not like that usually.

Im worried Im out too much in the day and he isnt getting enough play, so I've been trying to play with him lots before bed (but then this has ended in the biting and scratching).

Does anyone have any tips or advice? I can't shut him out of the bedroom as it is a studio and other than saying a loud 'no' I'm worried he will continue to bite and scratch me.

Bonjour! My sister and I are visiting Montreal soon - does anyone have any recommendations for great pancake places, or great vegetarian spots? We are staying in the Plateau if that makes any difference!
