Just looked over the certified election results for my county.

We Democrats have a problem here in Missouri. We don't vote.

In my rural county, Republicans turned out to vote in the primary, and on those very consequential ballot measures, at a rate of 2 to 1 over Democrats.

And yes, Amendments 3 & 4 4 & 5 were soundly defeated here, like everywhere else. But we've got to get more young and liberal folks to actually register and VOTE in November, else it will be more of the same efforts to consolidate their one party rule in the state. A party that is only interested in fealty to Trump.

If folks don't want to get a firehose of Republican ballot measures in every election, which will be ever more misleading and confusing, and take more away from the people while handing more power to SuperPAC's, then we have to stop electing legislators and state office holders who will do absolutely nothing except push the national maga agenda.

And yes, it's still odd as hell that those Amendments, which are straight from the Project 2025 maga playbook, were soundly defeated, but the same folks who rejected them will continue to vote for the legislators who put them on the ballot in the first place.

Texas Mile 2023 - 3rd Run

Was browsing my 73 year old buddy's youtube and thought this was a pretty sweet clip of him at the Texas Mile in 2023. I believe this is a 2015 ZX10r with some modifications.

Southern Baptists vote to advance a formal ban on churches with women pastors | CNN

In the face of dwindling church attendance and memberships, these "holier than thou" gentlemen are choosing to shoot themselves in the foot, I reckon.
