So I got a sample from northshore a couple of weeks ago to see if I want to change from Abena during my flair up days. Well, I’m having a flair up lol. I put the megamax on and all I can say so far is wow. I have only had it on about 20 min but the comfort and fit compared to an Abena L4 isn’t even comparable! Normally I wear an over night pad during the day when I’m working (easier to change) and a regular cvs pull up at night and on my days off unless I’m having a flair up. To say the least, I WILL be switching to northshore lol! Their megamax and go supreme are absolutely awesome!

I have mild to moderate urinary leakage with the occasional heavy day thrown in, mostly I can use a urinary pad during the day and a depend or something similar pull up at night and things work great. On those heavier days though I have been using Abena L3 and L4s on the super heavy days. I just received my north shore samples (go supreme and mega max) and I’m anxious to try them. What is everyone’s opinion on the two brands for someone who works outside in the heat 8 to 10 hours a day without a good place to change on an urgent basis.

When I was growing up my mom liked to drink but hid it very well, fighting and yelling were common in my house. She would get mean and yell and throw things over the smallest of things, her temper was the worst and it got even worse when she and my dad were stressed. If I did something wrong I would be screamed at and told how worthless of a person I was and I was even told that they should have aborted me once. Once I got old enough to have a job I was told of all the bills I had to pay and was required to pay them to continue living in their house. When they wanted some extra money from me I would have to say no because I wouldn’t have enough to cover my gas to get to work, that would end up in a huge fight with them telling me I didn’t know how to manage my money. I once had to buy them a couch and I said something wrong one afternoon and the couch got thrown out into the yard, I lost all that money. Everything was always my fault and I still stay extremely tense even after living on my own for 15 years. After everything I still love my parents and I guess I have forgiven them. I guess it’s just best to move on with life sometimes.

I know the general consensus on store brand diapers but depends have worked for me for years, so I decided to give the CVS pull ups for men a try today. So far they are comfortable, much more so than the depends for men (I usually wear women’s depends I’m 34 male). Does anyone have any experience with these with mild urinary incontinence?

Like the tag says, I can’t feel when my bladder is full. It feels the same all the time, the only feeling I get when I need to urinate is a pressure at the base of my penis and by the time I feel that it’s usually too late and I start dribbling until I go to the toilet. I can some what stop the dribbles after they start but it hurts. A lot of times at night I will wet and then when I first stand up in the morning it’s like gravity pulls the urine out and it’s next to impossible to stop.

When I first started wearing diapers I knew I had to but I still didn’t like it. Now I like wearing diapers, they keep me confidence, keep me comfortable, and keep me from worrying about wetting my pants if I don’t find a bathroom quick enough during the day and keep my bed dry at night. Diapers have become a giant trusted part of my life that I don’t want to live without!

I know depend is usually frowned on in this group but they seem to work for me on a daily basis with my light leakage. I have worn women’s depends for years (I’m male) since the men’s leaked last time I tried them. I decided to try them again recently and have noticed that the leg holes are small and bite into me. Are they just that small or do I just have thunder thighs? Lol.
