It's shocking. In all my time at UP, this is the first time I've seen something explode at the electric pole (?). It was pouring rain earlier, and then suddenly there was a loud BOOM up there. I got scared when I saw the 💥. At first, I thought it was struck by lightning, but it turned out that it exploded. This happened near PAV 3, close to the dorm and before UPIS. Good thing there weren't any people passing by at that time. After that happened, I left. Papunta sana kong UPIS kaso knee-deep na yung baha kaya inikot ko nalang palabas.
With thesis season once again, is there anything that we should AVOID when it comes to thesis based on your experience? For example,
Topics – due to the difficulty of the subject area, or sa pagiging "gasgas" na nya as my former design prof would say
Study areas – pahirapan makakuha ng info dahil wala masyadong research on it, or any locales/agencies that can be non-responsive na na-encounter nyo?
Other difficulties we may encounter, such as running into unexpected costs

Nagagamit ko naman UVLE account ko last sem. But when I enter my login details at this site, di ako maka-log in.
I can access my dilnet mail as well using the same details. Pero hindi at this site.
Do we have to create a new account? Or can we use the original login details we had from the old UVLE? (Sidenote, the old uvle site is inaccessible din for me atm).

Currently at a beginner level. These are our essential resources at the CI I'm studying at. On its own, the book can be repetitive at times why is why the instruction from our Mandarin teacher helps a lot to supply us with other information like grammar that isn't covered as much in the textbook.
Prior to this, I tried to self-study Chinese language but nothing beats having a teacher who can correct your tones. Even if I have someone in the household who is more fluent than I am but not native.
