Worst Mistake You’ve Made?

A year ago a customer ordered three books of stamps from Costco. Ended up in my pocket out of fear they’d be dropped in their boxes. Clearly I forgot they were there until I got home. Still sitting on three books a year later. Never got dinged and also kind of a useless mistake. What about you?

What’s the worst item to shop at Costco?

Hands down Watermelons. Not the heaviest items by far but they require dedicated space and can’t be stacked and then I have to make sure they don’t roll around my car. What say you shoppers, what’s your least favorite item to shop at Costco?

Former Brunch Spot is now a bar y’all

Looks like that awful brunch spot is no more. I’ll give Double K a fair shot. Their restaurant hasn’t exactly won me over. Frying everything in pork lard gives the whole experience a certain eau de barnyard that I personally did not order.
But a new bar in Missoula? Sure, I’m listening. My only prayer is that the vibe is less MAGA saloon and more “everyone’s welcome, have a drink and mind your business.”

If they can manage good cocktails, good vibes, and nobody makes me smell like a pork rind by last call, I genuinely wish them nothing but success

Was this the same person people had horror stories about?

If so, looks like she’s moved on.

Anyone else annoyed by the IC cashout options?

Just re started my account (was active 2018-2023) and had to sign up for the IC shopper rewards. I figured no big deal I wasn’t going to get another card to deal with payouts since I can still do the in app payout. Well the way IC has changed UI on the payout screen means I’ve now accidentally sent 3 separate days pay into that damn rewards account and have to pay the 3.99 for instant deposit vs the 1.50 on the app. Small axe to grind but they should provide some kind of warning before hitting payout to confirm the method cause it’s way too damn easy to do what I’ve done now 😣

Anyone else ever have a PIN order turn into a scavenger hunt?

Had one today outside Missoula that was an absolute disaster.
After finishing a pretty rough shop, I noticed the order required a PIN before I could complete delivery. No big deal… or so I thought.
The GPS took me to what was basically an empty shop/building. I found a guy there who spoke very little English, but I managed to figure out it was his boss’s shop. Unfortunately he had no idea where the boss actually lived.
At that point I had to mark the order as “arrived” while I drove around trying to figure out where this customer actually was. About 10 minutes later I happened to run into someone driving up a nearby dirt road. They recognized the owner’s name and gave me their phone numbers (which, thankfully, ended up also being the PIN).
Turns out the house was another 3/4 mile down a completely different dirt road from where GPS had dropped me.
The entire time I was messaging the customer through the app… not a single response. No directions. No answer. Nothing.
Eventually I got the order delivered, but between the incorrect GPS location, mandatory PIN, zero communication, and driving around rural roads playing detective, it was a complete cluster.
Has anyone else had a PIN order where the customer was completely unreachable? What would you have done in this situation?

Green Papaya, anyone?

I am hoping someone in the misoullaverse might be able to point me to a grocer that carries green papaya. I half hoped winco might have it but was incorrect. Been craving Som Tum and can readily order everything online for it except the fresh produce :/
