I started playing around the World Cup and I'm fully free to play. When this pack dropped, I only had 500 coins, but since I'm a Madridista and I love Gareth Bale from his time at Real Madrid, I said screw it, I'll risk it and take my chances. Luckily, I pulled him from the discounted 500-coin spin. He ended up carrying my team almost single-handedly, and I'm seriously impressed.

Position: Since he's a natural Prolific Winger, I tried him out wide first. But I just couldn't make any formation with wingers work for me, so I switched back to my narrow formation and put him at CF and that's where he shined.

Shooting: He doesn't have Blitz Curler skill, but when I shoot a Blitz Curler-style shot with him, it goes in almost every time. It isn't crispy slow-motioned like Del Piero one’s, but just give him the Long-range Curler skill and it works just as well.

Attacking AI: This is what I love most. Occasionally he drives me crazy by not running when I want him to (probably because of possession playstyle) but most of the time, though, his runs are insane. My go-to is a one-two between him and Rooney: Bale plays it to Rooney, bursts toward goal, and I just play a quick through ball. With his pace, no defender catches him, and it's one-on-one with the keeper. And I also noticed that he has the element of surprise like Ibrahimovic when he suddenly jumps and comes out of nowhere and score when you throw a random cross or pass.

Playstyle: I used to play Long Ball Counter and Quick counter, but this season I switched to Possession Game, and I'm enjoying it more than anything I've played recently.

Results: I never reached 1,735 rating before, but with Bale it was finally possible. I'm fairly sure Division 1 wouldn't have been that hard either, but I just want to secure Calafiori, so I didn't want to risk it and decided to stop there.

Out of every player in the pack, he was the one I wanted most (as I mentioned earlier, I’m a Madridista). But deep down, I didn't expect him to match George Best or Del Piero. But my God, he surprised me. I'd honestly put him up there with them.

I’m currently in Division 2 with 1,643 rating points, sitting at Global Rank 28,580. There are 18 days remaining in the phase.
I really want to secure the free Showtime player reward (Top 100k cutoff), but I’m a bit nervous playing against stacked P2W squads. (Yesterday I played Someone ranked 600 with 2000+ and by a miracle I won😅).

Do you think 1,643 points will naturally stay within the top 100k by the final day, or will the cutoff rise past 1,660+?

I saw some people asking about whether they should get Antonio Conte or not so I decided to share my experience.

I only joined the game recently so don’t take my word for granted but in my humble opinion I think no one should use Quick Counter if they don’t have high tier fast P2W defensive players and a good anchorman.

Quick Counter is my favourite play style and I have Roberto Martinez 90 proficiency Quick Counter but I don’t use him anymore unfortunately, I switched to possession. I’m a f2p player (in division2 console) & it’s suicidal to play that high defensive line, don’t get me wrong It’s fun to score 5-6 goals and more every match but with that high defensive line and slowish defenders you’ll definitely concede the same amount you score or more.

So yeah go for it if you love players constantly running forward and opening spaces to receive and score you’ll have fun with it but be careful in the defence if you’re f2p player imo.
